Does any one know what's happening with Arteta's contract? Didn't Keith Wyness say they were due for talks a week after the season ended? De Silva was another one who was due for talks. Fernandes what's happening with him?

I would have thought the most important thing for Everton was to keep hold of our best players. It's nice of Everton to keep us fans in the dark. I've also heard rumours on Sky Sports news that Tim Cahill and Andy Johnson are being linked to West Ham. I wouldn't be suprised if one of the two is sold to fianance our own deals. I don't think Moyes has that much money to play around with. He spent some of the new TV money last season. Personaly I only think he's got about £10 million to spend on new players.

Look on the bright side: at least Bill Kenwright is searching 24/7 for for new investments...

If Johnson and Cahill want to go to West Ham, whick I think is bullshit, then let them go for 20 million. Use that to buy Nugent and Fernandes and raise Artetas wages to lock him up here for the next few years. In Nugent we will have a player who wants to play for Everton and wouldn’t want to leave after one successful season. But I still think that all these rumors are just that, rumors. We have been linked with Jagielka, Barton, Koumas, Nugent, Ibanez, Luke Young, Richardson, Scharner, Matt Taylor, and more names that I don’t want to try to spell.

And it seems like every player of ours has been linked with a move away. It’s only been a couple of weeks and nothing has happened either way. There have only been a couple of moves by any team so far, most by Chelsea and United. It’s early, nobody should be panicking. I would love to hear the team come out and say "AJ, Cahill, Lescott are going nowhere. Lescott and Arteta have signed new and improved contracts. We have signed X, Y, and Z, and are close to completing a few more signings." But it’s only been a couple of weeks, Everton will be okay.

Yo Bro! its all good, man we are not desperate any more, if ROONEY can leave and we have our best season in a long time, then any one can leave, this is EVERTON man...

Could Gerard, Ronaldo, Terry leave and they say the same thing, i don’t think so....

But like David said, we got to wait and see........
