ToffeeWeb bias

ToffeeWeb seems to be taking the keep Everton in Liverpool approach. There must be many Evertonians, like myself, who have trust in Bill Kenwright and the board. He has taken us a long way in a short space of time. I believe if it wasn't for Bill we would probably be where Leeds United are now. I have trust in him and if he says Kirkby is the best long-term option for us then I for one will go along with that.

It's no secret that all three of us (Michael, Colm and myself) are of the mind that Everton should stay in Liverpool. Given the stakes, it's going to be very hard not to let those feelings bleed into our homepage editorial.

That admission notwithstanding, even if we were completely neutral on this issue, it would still behoove is to point out just how blatantly Dominic King — a Red by the way — is toeing the party line from Goodison on this. In order to sell the Kirkby move, Kenwright & Co are going to have convince a lot of people and having the Echo as an uncritical tool is a massive advantage.
