SOME REPORTS SUGGEST THAT EDWARD LUTON TUNNEY WAS BORN ON SEPTEMBER 23rd 1915 IN LIVERPOOL,
OTHERS GIVE THE SAME DATE OF BIRTH, BUT THE PLACE OF BIRTH IS GIVEN AS WIRRALL.HE BEGAN HIS CAREER AT EVERTON BUT NEVER PLAYED IN THE FIRST TEAM,
HE LATER MADE 225 LEAGUE APPEARANCES FOR WREXHAM, [ ACCORDING TO FOOTBALL LEAGUE PLAYERS RECORDS,] BEFORE TRANSFERRING TO WINSFORD UNITED.
OTHER SOURCES CREDIT HIM WITH 222 LEAGUE APPEARANCES AND THEN RETIREMENT.
I HAVE NO RECORD OF ANY CUP MATCHES HE MAY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN.HIS POSITION IS GIVEN AS RIGHT FULL-BACK,
