What a pile of tripe on the Caught Offside blog by a Spurs fan. Classic case of unrealistic bias in football. Sounds like so many football fans I know who refuse to admit players or sides are good other than their own.

I hate Liverpool but Steven Gerrard is a good player, I hate Man U and Ronaldo but he is a good player. I know Man U/Liverpool fans who simply refuse to admit that Arteta is a good player or anything good is happening at Everton. Madness!

Is that muppet telling us that Andy Johnson, Arteta, Lescott, Howard wouldn't make their team? Look at the league table, Spurs currently lie in the relegation zone at 18th and Everton are 8th.... Can't be that good, can they?

It really was quite pathetic. I liked the part where he said that "even Boro can reach the UEFA Cup final", but Spurs didn’t get that far did they. So is Boro better than Spurs too. What a load of shit, really. And his side is full of internationals, but ours isn’t? We have AJ, Cahill, Yobo, Carsley, Fernandes (if we keep him and I think we will), Neville, McFadden, Naysmith, Valente, Lescott was picked, Vaughan is in the under 21’s, and Anichebe was called up to Nigeria’s team but missed his flight, and Arteta should absolutely be in the Spain squad. So that is 12 that I counted without including Arteta of course. And lets face it, bragging that you have a bunch of players in the England squad isn’t exactly much to brag about considering Englands performances of late. Perhaps they are the reason England has been so disappointing, since so many of them are representing England.

I forgot to include Tim Howard and Turner representing their coutnries in goal. So that makes 14 internationals on Everton.

Because you have a shitload of money to spend compared to us and still couldn’t afford some decent lasagna? Or maybe it’s down to Spurs fans comparing us to Grimsby or Leicester?

"David Moyes has worked wonders in getting you up the top end of the table although its fair to say its not pretty to watchâ?¦Yes you finished 4th and 6th in the past three seasons but you must be deluded in thinking that you can break into the top 4 on a REGULAR basis."

He’s supported those idiots for 20 years you know! Does that make him some sort of expert on Everton?

How can this ’Wally’ talk about Everton when it doesn’t flow through his veins?

When was the last time Spurs won the title?

Or should we be busy biting our nails off reading so-called transfer gossips that go like "Higly rated wall-sitter Humpty Dumpty is being monitored by Villa, Celtic and Everton"? :)
