Transfer rumours

Comments (1)

I know they are only rumours, but my biggest worry is that the players we are linked with have all got one thing in common (in my opinion): they are all just average players, with no real quality.

Like you say, they're just rumours. Only the Jagielka bid seems to have any substance to it at the moment and it's going to take players of his versatility to pad out the squad in time for next season.

I dont know if you'll put this gossip on site but I just wanted to share these rumours from the sky-footie-site with you (and for added flavour why these people would know this):

The son of the best mate of the Goodison Park groundsman tells us: - Wes Brown for 6 million Pounds - Tim de Cler of AZ (left-footed wing back)

Friend of a ticket office worker at Goodison: - Again Wes Brown.

Someone claims he's "been told": - Birmingham city's key man Gary McSheffrey for a fee in the region of £7.25 million. if Everton fail to have that bid accepted they are willing to offer striker Victor Anichebe as part of the deal.

Of course this absolute speculation. McSheffrey was a new one for me, never seen the link with Everton before. Brown rumour exists for months (if not years). And with me living in Holland, I know De Cler is looking for a foreign transfer. Decent left-back who likes to come up and has a good cross, but not sure if he's PL-class. Will cost at least 2,5 million pounds, probably more.

Cheers from the city where James Vaughan plays tonight (or euhm well... is warming the bench at least...)
