Are you guys as excited as me about this? The first summer signing is in! The official website informs us about Karl Sheppard, 16-year old, from Shelbourne! A pacey, easy-scoring striker, just what we needed!
Pha, this proves all you Moyes-haters and Kenwright-deniers wrong, they didn't dither on this one and pulled out all moneybags available!

I've come over all queer like and jittery... can it really be true? Spencer... Lutkiewicz... and now Sheppard! It's fantastic!!!
Well fuck me [not literally, please!] but that’s great news. I hope this guy isn’t being serious. Probably just a few too many funky ciggies!
Seriously though, I think it’s great that we’re putting energy into our youth system. Look at Vaughan and Anichebe, they’re not natural scousers and they’ve come up trumps!!
Who knows, this kid could be the next big thing - for every 10 youth players that fail, there are the ones that make us millions..
Look at Newcastle, Keegan scrapped their youth system and they’ve been shite ever since.
No funky ciggies, just bored at work, Paul. And in an sarcastic mood after talking to an "help"desk-employee for a small hour. ;)
They didn’t dither??????? They’ve waited 18 friggin months!!!!!!
I was pretty bored last week so I went on the Liverpool chat site at the Echo and caused some trouble among the Shite’s fans. I pretended to be Japanese and taught them how to say Red Shite in Japanese. They all thought it meant Red Giants. Soft bastards! Your Help Desk guy is a Liverpool fan, Erik?
Who needs Europe, the Premiership, even the FA or League Cups?!... At least with these signings we’ll win something - The FA Academy League.
Moyes is on a mission to bring the average age of the squad down - Weir and Pistone have gone and now our only signing this season is waiting on his GCSE results (or the Irish equivelent).
Hope my spelling is up to scratch here Colm, but whatever happened to "cead mil failte". Some of my fellow blues seem intent on making this kid as welcome as a fart in a dry suit. Let’s hope he sticks to reading Blue Kipper !
