...just a bit of fun, but who fancies doing an AFC Wimbledon and starting up again from scratch? Bagsy number 9!

as i understand, SIR terry leahy is an evertonian, as are his kids(so they should be!). Can anyone shed any more light on his interest in our move from Goodison. Is he fighting for us or Tesco?or for the share price?

Sir Terry has a duty to his shareholders but no duty to EFC. He is using us to obtain planning approval in Kirby. But it works both ways - commonly, future profits are set against obtaining planning or paying over the odds for sites. I believe this is what he is doing with our stadium. He is paying for it out of Tesco future profits on that site. This way he helps EFC but can justify the position to his shareholders.
I wonder perhapts whether the significant number of EFC supporters with wealth would invest in the same way, say against the hotel or corporate facilities in a new stadium in the City.

First dibs on the Goalie’s shirt then Mike - although the last time I played a competitive 11-a-side I let 9 in. But on current form I should still be preferred to Dickie (is he still with us ?)Wright.

I want Trevor Stevens number 7 shirt. Don’t quite have the trickery of our best right winger in my lifetime, but I can get a good cross in...
