Frustration

Every single player we get linked with in the Echo, theres a but to it, like this afternoons issue:

- Grella joins Torino.
- Jagielka, again nothin happening.
- Diop, little chance of him joining Everton.
- Koumas, too much money.
- Fernandes, unlikely.

TALK ABOUT GIVING US SOME HOPE!!!!

They then go on to chat shit for the rest of the story filling are heads with nonsense, when all we want to do is hear news of a new signing. Quite frankly, this is really beggining to piss me off now; we could really do with getting a few players in before the training begins again so that they can get to know each other.

It does look like we are setting ourselves up for another season of Champions League failure again, where we had the opportunity to buy many players of top quality and what did we do? Sweet fa, just a few dodgey players. Moyes or Kenwright, seriously need to get their heads together because after this season I don't see us being in europe for a long, long time with all these takeovers. This is our only chance and we need to seize it. If not, im going to have to start calling for Kenwright's head.

Oh yeh and whatever happened to Arteta's new contract? Everton put on their website months ago that he was getting a new one. Obviously he rejected it, please correct me if im wrong.

your not wrong! It is starting to get really depressing. I am afraid there is some problems that we might not know about. If we stick to what we thought we knew things looks kind of strange.

Arteta new contract decire was issued on the official page, yet nothing seems to happen.

Moyes said on the official page that we needed to get more numbers, five or six players, yet nothing happens.

I will stay cool for another week, but after that we must somehow demand answers from the club. Moyes did say on evertonfc that it would be difficult to make early signings like last year, but something needs to happen and hopefully next week after he returns from holiday we will enter the market.

There is no question about it, we must have between 10-20 million after new sponserdeal, tv rights, sales of Kilbane and Davies. These money has to be spent on at least four/five players or we could get into real problems! Its not about getting Manny or Riquelme, not about selling Beattie it is something much more important its about building a foundation and for that we need more numbers or else we could end up near the buttom half of the table. Renember we have been quite lucky with injuries things might not stay that way. If we enter the group stages of uefa we will have to play around eight matches more at least.

Or is the truth really that we used the budget last season if so hey then I suspect that Moyes knows his way out of this club, why would he want to stay if the backing is so poor. Please prove us wrong at get some players in now.
