Anyone else surprised that Kenwright hasn't announced that we made a bid of £16 million for Henry to join us? Perhaps he realises the majority of Everton fans don't fall for that tactic anymore?

After his famous "absolutely definitely" quote of three years ago where he looked Sky's Alan Myers straight in the eye and assured him categorically that players would be signed by the August 31st deadline following Wayne Rooney's sale ? you'll recall that no one was ? and then the great Fortress Sports Fund deception, Kenwright has reduced his soundbites quota to an asbolute bare minimum.
