Midfielder signs. Austrian captain signs in: The Everton academy have completed the signing of Austrian U16 captain Georg Krenn from VFB Admira Wacker. Midfielder Krenn has also featured for his country at Under 17 level. That's if you believe NSNO.co.uk: That should stop some of you moaning.

He has signed. He was in the list of Academy inductees announced by the Club yesterday but, assuming your tongue isn't planted firmly in your cheek, a teenager will be some years away from a first team in dire need of strengthening.

Wow, excellent, I’ll stop moaning now then Shka.

I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to the squad and will be pushing Cahill and co for a place next season.

Fair play, I’m finding it hard to believe who’s tongue in cheek and who isn’t at the moment.

It’s the boredom of waiting for something to happen Steve.

On a positive note, and God it’s hard to be positive at the moment, hopefully the current U-16 Austrian captain fulfills his early promise and becomes the full side’s captain whilst playing for Everton.

Great that we’re signing players for the future. Shame we play in the now...

I’m beginning to think we’ve put our eggs in one basket with this Kirby move.

All transfers are on hold until this is sorted out kind of thing.

I don’t think our transfer budget will stretch to eggs, let alone a basket to put them in Steve !

Good news though apparantly our dithering now has Bolton as favourites to sign Jagielka. Maybe this Austrian kid is for the now...

Everton sign kids from Iceland, kids from Austria, kids from America, kids from Ireland and even kids from the Faroe Isles. When are these scouts going to find some senior players or are they only hanging around schools?
