Alf Hincks's KEIOC statement
Comments (10)
Sorry Mr Hincks but you and the campaign group KEIOC has lost all credibility due to your moronic actions in documenting football violence at an Everton match that happened nearly three years ago. You have managed to nationally besmirch the reputation of our football club.
Whatever tactics you deem to use, remember you are speaking on behalf of yourself and not EVERY Evertonian.
Whilst I am against any move to Kirkby, I would not feel the need to drag myslef or the name of my club through the mud, this is just what the media and other parties in our city will thrive on. Sort yourself out.

So an individual’s action, not sanctioned by the group means an entire group and their stance is no longer credible? How does that work? Is Kirkby now the Nirvanna it’s meant to be? Thank god for that, it’s a weight off my mind!
Well said John, KEIOC has been exposed for what they really are, a bunch of local Business men, living in the shadow of GP not really giving a shit about Everton or it’s fans. They make me sick!!!
Tom, there is enough of bad publicity about Everton already, our name is in the press for all wrong reasons and I dont think that we need the help of KEIOC as well.
Its simply not the way to do it, its not our level. Why should they expose our club in such disgusting manner, they want to compare us with our neighbors, when they do something wrong, everyone is playing it down, we want to move - the barbarians are coming.
There were even a story in some of the newspapers here in Vienna about it, which was passed to me by a Man. U fan. Surely there must be another way to make your point, init?
I agree with Tom, it’s an indivduals actions that he has apologised for, how long have we got to wait for Kenwright to say sorry for all his spin, lies and deceit??
It was abad and totaly out of place comment..It got mentioned on BBC North West(Gordon Burns) all of which we can do without.. Bad Stuff. Makes people look at KEIOC in a new and more critical light. If it was polotics the person would HAVE to RESIGN.. !!! DO SO NOW
Anyone who believes this is ’an individuals actions’ is naive beyond belief. KEIOC will do whatever it takes. Working with a bunch of kopites in KRAG proves this, not to mention their faux concerns for the people of Kirkby. You know, that dump where they would hate to see Everton move too. They are hysterical comedy value though, I don’t know what these businesses are that they run but they can’t take too many grey cells if you ask me!

Not to condone KEOIC in any way, but they have just posted a blurb on their myspace website saying that they didn’t show anything of a sort.
As much as I want to veto the move I think this was appalling bad taste,as a fan who travels a lot I can assure you there are people through out this country convinced scousers are the pits and this has added to it
Have Toffeeweb given Tom Hughes a job...as initial responder to all posts about the Stadium ? Or are you just off work with a lot of time on your hands at the moment, Tom?
I find it hard to believe that this character from KEIOC did this entirely on his own and outside of the knowledge of anybody else in the group. It is just not believable and contravenes all that is known about the mechanics of group behaviour. I have to give him credit for his courage, though, because he’s the one who will have to fall on his sword to try to save the face of the rest of KEIOC. A typical political stunt which tells us everything we need to know...if we didn’t know it already.
In actual fact, I was meeting with KEIOC people at the time that this was disclosed, and they were all dumbstruck... I?m not a member and have no need to lie on their behalf. The lad in question is in fact a Kirkby resident. He was asked about anti-social behaviour at the match and answered honestly. No film was ever shown. This was totally misconstrued and blown out of all proportions... and the sheep have jumped on it as a slant on this entire group simply because they don?t agree with their stance for whatever reason....
I mean, can we step out of the playground for a mo. Where is the instant condemnation of all things Kirkby due to the complete lack of information, or the gradual release from other sources that we we won't actually be getting this for nowt after all, nor will we own it. Does that tell you "everything you need to know" about this whole process?
BTW, I?m on leave at the mo and sick of stadium plans. Ta for asking tho, Eileen!
