Petition

Comments (10)

After my recent post, I realised even more how much I despise our chairman. I have decided to create a Petition against Bill Kenwright. The Petition is to get Kenwright to stand down as Everton chairman, and allow potential investors or anybody with a care for the club to takeover. I don't know your opinions on Kenwright, but I for one hate him with a passion and I know there are plently of other fans who dislike him as well. The URL is: http://www.petitiononline.com/BillWout/petition.html Please feel free to sign the petition, sign it as many times as you want, the more the better. I really hope this will be the start of the end of the Kenwright era. If any one disagrees with this petition, then quite simply dont sign it, just go on supporting your club without knowing whats going on. Finally... I do not appreciate sarcastic comments about what I am doing. I am doing this for my love for the club, if anyone disagrees then keep comments to yourself. I persuade you to sign this petition, the more people against Kenwright, the more chances he has of realising he needs to move aside. Thankyou, KENWRIGHT OUT!

Thanks, Shaun. That's going to do wonders to our reputation as a home for Moyes/Kenwright malcntents who have no appreciation for the forward strides made over the last five years. And we won today... TWICE! Isn't that enough for you?

With all due respect, No two friendly wins against two poor teams isnt enough, if it was two wins in a premiership match I would be delighted. While we are stepping forward in the right direction, we are winning nothing, and this season looks like a huge backstep with many teams majorly improving their team’s. I certainly don’t like what is happening with our club, watch next season we will finish in the bottom 10, and we will be out of all competitions by the end of January. Mark my words on that, and I will be back in January, hopefully with me being proved wrong. KENWRIGHT OUT!

Steve, your entitled to voice your opinion about Kenwright as I agree he needs to be replaced, but theres no need for a petition really is there? You haven’t given any solution as to who or how he should be replaced and who is likely to take on our 60 million debt before even considering any further changes or investment in the club. I posted on another email about looking to see whether its the debt or Kenright refusing to give up, by taking a look at the other recent takeovers and seeing whether the clubs accounts (publically available online) were similar to ours. as my sneaking suspicion is that it is the 60 million debt thats putting people off right now rather than BK refusing to give up control. Worth considering at least....

£60 million? Where’s that number suddenly appeared from?

Read the Club accounts Karl. they’ve got ongoing and long term debt- it was actually about 55mil in May 2006

Steve, you ask where will the moey come from to reduce our debt.
With a bit of thinking outside the box I bet with the right focus the fans could raise between £50 and £60m.
The club must have a fanbase around the world of over 100,000.
50thousand shares @£1000 per share would I think raise £50m.
But and its a big but BK would have to dilute his holding in the club and be accountable to the fans, and as he is such a big fan and only has the interest of the club at heart then what is stopping him.
I for one would put my money where my mouth is as I believe would a lot of others.
but it won’t happen so we will just have to put up with BK till people wake up.

A cracking idea Steve Sweeney, but obviously too simplified. How much would that be worth doing though and it would in effect put the club in total profit not just operating profit wise. See positive thinking rather than just negative get rid, this is carp comments can actually put a different perspective on things. Top comments Steve and a Top man.

Steve Sweeney please write to the mailbag or to Ian Ross expanding on your idea, we really do need some positive thoughts at the moment as understandably people are getting more worried & annoyed regarding the truth about the transfer budget. Positive ideas can lead to creativity. COYB

Steve, you can buy a share, you just need to go through the right channels since it is not publicly traded. My Uncle has shares, so what’s stopping ya. If you want to you can, but shares are more than 1000 just to let you know. So go to the club website, find the location where it talks about shares and send an email. You can put your money where your mouth is, it just takes more than writing a post on toffeeweb.com

David, I believe that Steve Sweeney is talking about a share issue (increasing the amount of shares available to bring revenue into the club) not buying a share off another shareholder. This would only put money into the previous holder's pocket not the clubs. Share issues appear to be discussed quite often but to no avail, so it would appear that our illustrious leaders are against it. I am no expert but is there such a thing as a non-voting share? Where the share bought gives no control or management rights, surely this type of issue would create revenue without upsetting the powers that be.

"Finally... I do not appreciate sarcastic comments about what I am doing. I am doing this for my love for the club, if anyone disagrees then keep comments to yourself. "

If you post a petitions that I view as moronic and damaging, don?t expect me to keep my comments to myself.

What is the point of this crap ? Firstly Kenwright can just ignore your 500 or so names. Quite rightly too. Secondly if he did react and step down , what the hell do you expect to happen ? Knight in shining armour ? If I had millions I?d rush to invest to a club who is managed by a small vocal group of bitter idiots.

May I suggest to readers that if you sign this you are :
1. Not a fan
2. Part devil worshipper
3. A danger to children
4. The cause of global warming
5. Part of a wider global conspiracy

Now look what you?ve done Shaun. You?ve reduced me to your level of debate. Oh bugger.
