The Mail Bag

In Summary

The people who say we should get rid of Beattie and Van der Meyde are constant but no writer ever names any likely replacements for the money we'd get in, also the clear talent of the twois more than enough for me to keep them. Meyde will be like a new player this year, he looks as fit as he's ever been and totally slimmed down.

The money situation is a joke and were basically about 5 players down, and the truth is once Arteta gets injured we've fucked basically.

Saw that Man City had signed Fernandes before... for a brief moment I thought it was Manuel but wasn't.

A member close to Everton today confirmed we have no money and we should expect nothing else more than Jagielka. It's a shame as i can us struggling this year as if we progress in Europe our squad if you can call it that won't be up to it.

We simply can’t afford to lose more players, The squad is so bare after the first 11. I am worried about playing in Europe on the Thursday night and then having a premier league game on Sunday as one or two players will more than likely be carrying knocks. I can’t believe we are considering going into the new season and being in the Uefa cup with a squad smaller than last year.
