Surely now, people are seeing Kenwright for what he actually is? An absolute lying and cheating moron who does not have the best interests of our great club at heart. We all want more transparency from Kenwright but what he is doing is clear for all to see ? move the club to a new stadium as cheaply as possible then sell the club for as much profit as possible. To sell the club now would not yield anywhere near the same profit for Kenwright hence he has no interest in selling or giving up any control he has over the club.
And for those that praise Kenwright for the stability he has brought, he is now having the most destabilising influence on the club because players like Arteta, Cahill, Johnson and Lescott won't hang around whilst "Blue Bill" invests nothing in the team and pursues his own selfish money making scheme.
We, the fans, need to do more to get rid of this cancer at the core of Everton FC.

Gosh... I'm sure you're not supposed to say things like that are you? I think there's probably a law against it. I think we're okay coz our disclaimer puts all blame firmly on you when MI-5 come calling... Shocking accusations indeed!!!

YES at last, Alan. I do so hope people can see through the luvvy act. He's told us more lies than a desperate used-car salesman, overseen the criminal failure of Kings Dock, sold Shrek, fabricated the Fortress, messed up NTL... "Ah, but," I hear them say, "he's a Evertonian." I would hate to see what he would do if he wasn?t. Probably sell all our assets... oops! he already has!!!

Arteta and Cahill just signed 5 year extensions and AJ and Lescott just signed last year!!!! What the hell are you talking about they won’t stick around, they just did!!! Do you fucking people live in a parallel universe. I’m not BK’s biggest fan but when you speak out of your ass you just sound down right ignorant and stupid. And we didn’t sell Shrek Roy, the fuck head demanded a transfer turning his back on the club he grew up with because his money grubbing agent told him to. I have a solution, why don’t you come up with 50-100 Million and buy the club and you can then spend all the money you want on players. Oh wait, don’t have the money, then shut up!!!!!! Fuck all this negativity is pathetic. The club is more stable now than most people can remember, or do you want to go back to signing the likes of Gaza?

David Barks, Rooney demanded transfer only for deluded people like you. The move was engineered long before it actually happened. We were granted 10m loan to balance the books in February, which disappeared right after the sale of Rooney. Moreover some of the staff at Everton had a vested financial interest of selling Rooney, not to forget our captain from the time Mr. Stubbs, who publicly spoke about Rooney needing to go.
Some sources even claim that Man Utd wanted to wait one more year before making the move but with Everton facing administration BK rang his friend Shepherd to make a false offer, something Everton has done on numerous occasions during the last decade with Smith and Colymore springing to my mind. Man Utd bit and Rooney was sold. It was a very well engineered theater piece, involving the local and national press as well. At the time Rooney was 18 and he was brainwashed, being not too intelligent he fell into the trap set by BK and his advisers.
This is the story: Rooney was the sheep which had to be sacrificed to save BK, everything else is for deluded fans like you.

I - and the webmaestros here - have been railing against Kenwright for six or seven years now on this very site.
For the last two years, I just haven’t cared. I simply don’t have the energy to expend on it anymore. I’ve a kid, a missus, a job - all of which need my attention far more than the good ship Everton.
I hate what Kenwrights doing - but as my influence on events is negligible I just choose to ignore EFC in general now. You could just watch the games and not worry about the board room shenanigans, you could follow my lead and basically stop following the club altogether. Or you could wind yourself up needlessly over some tosser you’ve probably never met, never will meet and even if you did, he wouldn’t remember you 0.04 of a second after you stopped speaking to him.
Isn’t what they do on the field what counts after all? Does Kenwright take the corners now? Moyes the free kicks?
Exactly. Like it or lump it basically. None of us screaming blue murdert is going to remove Billy Bullshit anytime soon.

Maybe you’re right DC but you might have been ahead of your time, people are now seeing Kenwright for what he is and you may now have more support. The fact that you have written on here means you care more than you say you do.
And David Barks, keep going with your blinkered views, lets see what happens. The "stability" Kenwright brought us is only because he sold Rooney. Have a think lad - if we hadn’t have had Rooney to cash in on, we would still be in a financial mess. Yet you come on here sounding like you want to punch someone because you love the man so much! Ask yourself, are you happy that utility man Jagielka is our only summer signing?
I really don’t want to be writing on here in 5 years time "I told you so" when Kenwright sells up and we’re singing about our history in a crap cheap new stadium.

For the umpteenth time in recent weeks, I feel moved to write in support of Chairman Bill. This orchestrated viification has gone too far and is totally unjustified. As Mike Parry has just said on Talk Sport,?BK is the best thing that has ever happened to Everton - he saved the club!?
How soon people forget. And all over the failure to secure a couple of Championship may-bes!

Richard, this is getting tiresome, but let me try one more time to get through to you. We are not upset because of "the failure to secure a couple of Championship may-bes".
We are upset because Kenwright has brought us to the position where our club does not have the money (a) to build a decent stadium in a decent location; or (b) to strengthen the team with genuine quality (e.g. Fernandes).
As a consequence, despite Moyes rather clever management in the circumstances, we are in severe danger of being by-passed by a range of teams outside the Top Four.
We need money. Bill does not have it. He must go and let someone come in who does have it.
What about this is hard for you to understand?

This is the most moronic piece of shite I’ve read on the interent for years.
A lot of the replies are a bit whiffy too.
Kenwright go? To be replaced with who? Some yank who’ll want to change the name of the club to the blue sox?
Everyone’s looking for a quick fix aren’t they, we need backing to compete, well no, we do compete allready, perhaps not for the title, but hey, there’s four teams been competing for the title for years and they can’t all win it. What if we do get a new owner, puts 100m into the team, and we STILL don’t win it? Then what, what happens if we finish 6th after spending all that? No CL income? uh oh.... back to the late nineties and we’re flat broke.
I’d love to see us pony up the dough for Fernandes, but if I’m honest, I’d rather we banked it to give the club some stability in the coming seasons.
All these foreign owners will be put to the test in years to come, lets see how many of them stick around and how many of them take their clubs down with them.
I was even gutted when the shite became the united states of the shite.
If you’re not happy, DON’T buy a season ticket, take your kids on the park on a Saturday afternoon instead, that’s what I do, and it’s free!

Mr Richard Dodd , there is no ’orchestrated viification’ as far as I am concerned. I can only speak for myself, but my thoughts on Chairman Bill(Mao) are totally independent of any other person or persons. There is indeed justification for the criticism due to his lack of communication to the supporters save appearances on Season Review DVD’s and Joseph. His failure to attract tangible investment i.e. money is also a valid reason to question his intentions. Most of what is being said or written about Everton and especially Chairman Bill is supposition and conjecture, who’s to blame for that? If I and other supporters have to rely on the opinion of Mr.Mike Parry for our views then Everton Football Club has indeed lost its way. Nobody would doubt that Chairman Bill saved us from going under and we all thank him for that, but there is no point in saving a drowning man if all you end up doing is throwing him back in the sea with bricks in his pocket.

Good debate this I for one am anti Bill. I agree that it was not he who saved EFC but the Rooney money if we are honest. In terms of us having a good team I d agree however I believe this is more through Moysies transfer prowess rather than Bill stumping up the cash. Lets face it we ve been lucky our gambles have paid off eg lescott etc. I don t understand why we are not going after the likes of swp, barton and baines and why with all the money floating about in football we are not competeing.

The Arabs have a saying: "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." A certain gentlman has fooled us with the Kings Dock and the Samuelson millions fairytale. He thinks we?ll swallow anything he says. Let's not let him fool us anymore.
There's another agenda here guys. He has an asset that he bought for £20 million that is now worth £60-80 million ? maybe he doesn't want to sell as it's growing quite nicely, thank you!

Stefan, lets deal in fact and not some stupid conspiracy theories. You want to know how the club could have made up that money over the next few years with a World Cup on the horizon? Try thinking about the amount of Rooney jerseys that would have been sold. The guy was a young star who let it get to his head, that’s what the facts say.
Michael Kenrick
Posted 15/07/2007 at 15:08:12
David, let’s not redo all the Rooney thing. Stefan’s view of the facts is easily substantianted, but there are indeed many (far more?) fans like you who were sadly duped by a very clever smear campaign, and believe that the transfer request was the beginning of that sad business. It wasn’t: it was the end, the final step the club needed to make sure Rooney became the perennial target of hatred and abuse he has indeed become for many Evertonians.
David Barks
Posted 15/07/2007 at 15:18:56
Michael, if it is so easily substantiated as you say, then lets post some documentation. Lets see the paperwork, the emails between the people at the club who wanted this. Lets see the facts, not just conjecture, because until that happens it is a conspiracy not his view of the facts. If I come on here and say I and many others think that George Bush is really a Chimp with makeup that makes him look like a human and someone else is doing his talking for him while puppet strings make his mouth and arms move, that is not fact. Although it actually might be true if we look at the past six years. Just something to ease the mood and maybe get a laugh.

David, it’s all in our archives accessible from this page or any other on TW if you are really interested. But let’s face it, you are hardly going to spend a few hours researching to then come back and say "Yes, you’re right: I was duped." That simply ain’t gonna happen.
Stefan and I have made an effort to show you an alternative view, but you’re not really receptive to it, as your silly little George Bush tirade demonstrates. So let’s drop it. There really is no point.
Stefan Tosev

Sorry Michael, I don’t know what are you talking about, maybe I have missed something... What is this alternative view or were you talking to David?
David Barks
Posted 15/07/2007 at 16:39:52
God Michael the George Bush thing was a joke, not a tirade. I thought it would just calm things down, unless you’re a fan of his in which case I apologize if I offended you. I am receptive to other points of view if facts are presented. The more the transfer season goes on without us making moves does make me more and more upset at BK and apprehensive. However, it was just on Sky that we had bid for Milan’s Simek but they have decided not to sell him. It wasn’t that we bid low, but that they have decided he will not be sold at all. But again, I am not a huge BK fan, and I would like for someone else with more money to come in and buy the club and put us in contention for the league title. I just don’t think he is the ultimate demon that some make him out to be and think that these petitions are just childish.
