I think the situation at Everton requires more than petitions. With a smallish Senior squad on relatively low wages, Sky money and ticket money and merchandise money pouring in at a rate that must exceeed the outgoings, and continued talk of overwhelming debt, it is time for someone to call in the Fraud Squad. I'm serious.... something stinks at Goodison.

Brian there’s no mystery surrounding our lack of money, its all in the club accounts in the annual reports. The ougoings unfortunately have been more than the revenue for the last 2 seasons and only the Rooney deal stabilised us the year before- draw your own conclusions from that one! Around half our revenue has to service ongoing creditors and then there is our long term debt circa 24million. The mystery surrounds the lack of investment coming into the club and the only person who can answer that question is BK himself. Between our debt and wages we’ve hardly got a bean to spare and it is chromic that a Premiership Club would be in this state in an era when generally clubs revenues are at the highest they’ve ever been. It seems that the impact of the mismanaged years has been misjudged by the board. They certainly aren’t villains but they are hindering the clubs progress as not 1 ounce of new investment has been introduced to the club in the last 6 years.
