Walker & Smith

Could I ask some fans to do me a favour? When someone has a go at Moyes, could you please stop rolling out the "I suppose you would like Smith back in charge"? Smith done that, Walker done this, comparing them to Moyes. As you keep pointing out to fans who mention our history, like how great we were in the eighties etc, that they need to stop living in the past, because it's gone. Well reality check lads, so are Walker and Smith in the past.

What?
Is this a knee-jerk reaction to Moyes’ apparent lack of transfer activity? I can’t believe anyone can seriously lay the blame squarely at David Moyes feet - that kinda thing lives firmly with source or there lack of.
Whether it is BK’s fault is debatable BUT his lack of financial clout IS. The long and short of it all is Bill Kenwright doesn’t have access to sufficient funds to take Everton much further.
It wouldn’t matter if we had the worlds greatest Manager (I personally think DM is damn good!) because with the lack of funds very few could do better.
I’m not saying DM is perfect - he’s proven to have his failings but then so did Sir Alex Ferguson in his early days.

Couldn’t agree more. the future is what we need to look at; we need to emulate the success of yesteryear by investing in the future. Memories are nice, but I want more and whinging about Moyes and the stadium move really gets on my tits.
