Wool Over Our Eyes?

This is just typical of Everton and it is making me seethe with rage. I have just logged onto the Official web site and WOW ?Breaking News? ?Major Announcement?. What?s this I wonder have we pulled off a coup a Major signing that we will make the rest of the Premier League sit up and take notice, placate the fans who were getting nervous the wonderful news that Davie has not been dithering and he has been biding his time to unveil this wonderful new addition to our ranks.
No it old news wrapped up and re-packaged in yellow! Every fan knew that Everton were ?holding a ballot amongst its fan-base? to gague the opionion of moving to Kirby. I just don?t belive how I have been duped (all be it momentarily) by my beloved club AGAIN this I should come to expect but I am becoming exasperated now.
I like Moyes, I think he is doing a steady job of building a good squad and taking Everton forward and yes he does have his faults he can be overly negative and too defensively minded but over the past five years we have improved a great deal. I do remember the mid-80s and I know where we should be, we ain't there but we are slowly climbing back there.
My gripe is Billy and Bully: they seem to think that we don?t care or are too stupid to see what they are doing, which is nothing other than blowing hot air up each others asses. I'm sorry this is just a rant but it is beginning to make me mad!

I don?t know about it being typical of Everton, but it?s certainly typical of some Evertonians. Any opportunity to grumble about something, anything, must be taken, eh ?
I?ve read any number of posts on any number of boards about Kirkby being a ?done deal? and that "there?ll be no vote blah, blah...". Well now there is. So let?s get it on.
A vote on a potential move away from our home of over 100 years is certainly a major announcement in my eyes. And we?re going to be given a look at the plans and a say in whether we?re happy with it.
What more do you want ?

What level of majority is needed to accept the move? Any majority? two-thirds? three-quarters?
What are the options on the ballot form?
What the hell is the proposal? We still have minimal information on what the deal would be, what exactly we would get for it and how much it would cost us and where that money will come from.

I?m sorry I came across like I was moaning but the official site has had so little ?real? news on it all close season I had my hopes built up and dashed in a matter of minutes this morning seeing the headline.
I Promise to be more upbeat next time I post.

I am 100% against a move to Kirkby.
