Ground move

Comments (2)

I am contacting you following today's announcement that there will be a vote held regarding the proposed ground move to Kirkby. After approximately 10 years of debates and options the time is nigh when we as Evertonians have to vote either in favour or against the move

I beg you as a "fanzine" to work relentleslly to convince your supporters to vote against moving to Kirkby. This move would be the death of our great club. I cannot believe that there aren't better options available [if not now then in the near future]. Moving out of the city will rip the soul out of our great club.

Mr Wyness has no passion for our club other than the balance sheet and whilst he has done a great job in "steadying the ship" his motives for this move are not in our long-term best interests. My biggest concern is that a lot of Evertonians are now so disillusioned with what is going on at Anfield ? i.e. new ground, massive investment, etc.? that we will be kidded into believing that we must accept the inevitable and move. I am hoping we have more resolve and vote no!

Wev'e put up with the poor state of Goodison for the past 10 years, let's not panic now. Vote no and we can do much better. There are investors out there, there are alternative sites. Let's stay the Peoples club of Liverpool.

Well said Andy,I will definitely be voting no,in fact when Billy Liar has finished fiddling his way to Kirkby,my days of watching Everton(except on the telly)will be over, and I don’t think I will be by myself either.Does Billy Liar think he will get the 20 thou he will need to fill the ground from Kirkby with the locals? I think not!
