Moyes in collusion?

Comments (4)

When Benitez accused us of being a small club, Moyes came out blazing to defend us. Now, however, he's conspicous by his silence over our lack of funds. Are we to believe that he has asked for no more players?

He has said that Kenwright has always backed him so if we haven't made any signings it must mean that Moyes doesn't think there are any players in world football good enough for Everton. Either that or he's too tight with Kenwright to criticise him to the detriment of the club and team and if this is the case then he has got to go in the firestorm that will surely erupt if, as I fully expect, Everton have another disastrous season, going out of Europe and all cups early, purely through lack of investment in the playing squad when in a strong position to do so.

Stop being silly. Moyes and Kenwright have all the appearance of being on the same plane, which is exactly what you want for a successful management team. To label that as "collusion" is nothing short of ridiculous.

To then make a few more leaps of logic, based on a false premise, and yet another ridiculous prediction of how Everton are going to do this coming season... For God's sake, let's see what happens!

Maybe you should get up to date on rescent news Paul. We are in the middle of signing up Swiss international Vogel, and are strongly linked by Skysports with this South African playmaker Pienar. And we already signed Jagielka. So by the end of the week we could have a total of 4 players signed in Jagielka, Lucas, Vogel, and Pienar.

David
maybe you need to get up to date the only player of premiership quality?we have signed is Jagielka and we have lost Naysmith Davies Weir Pistone and Kilbane not to mention Fernandes!!
NOW we are told the new ground will not be ours but on a lease. What kind of executives last that long when they lie about their investment strategy ($25m for players)their investment support(Fortress)and they do not have a plan B.
I wouldnt give them a job managing a Tesco Store let alone a club with the history of EFC.

Jacqui, stay on topic man. Where did the ground move come into this. Davies didn’t do the job for us while he was here, Pistone hadn’t played in about 2 years, Weir is just plain old and couldn’t cope with the speed of the league any more, Fernandes was a loan, and Kilbane???? Instead we are brining in a former PSV and AC Milan man with nearly 100 Caps for his country, which he captains. And it looks like we are bringing in a young playmaker who starred at Ajax and for his country. He said in his post that we haven’t made any signings and it looks like Moyes doesn’t want to make any.
