Why are we complaining?

I don't understand why people are complaining so much. Yes, 20 years ago, we were the dogs, but poor management has led to a steady decline over the years.

Now I'll admit that Bill is not the best person to run the club but since he has brought in Moyes and Bully Wyness the club has been turned around. We've built arguably the best training facility in the country, just like Bellefield was when it was built; we've got a decent young team, the best set of players we've had for at least 15 years; we've broken our record transfer fee in the past two seasons; we've qualified for Europe twice in the last three seasons and are no longer considered relegation fodder.

And now we've been given a great chance to build a new stadium, which no-one can argue isn't needed and everyone is fucking moaning saying the Board are crap. Football has changed from when we were top dogs and we have to change too, otherwise our biggest game of the season in the future will be the derby game against Tranmere in League One. Get behind the club and let's take it forward, these are exciting times for us!

Anthony, you realise of course that you have instantly created a huge mob of enemies. Any minute now you will be inundated with anti Kirkby posters.
You will notice as I have done that not one of em’ comes up with an alternative plan that we can afford. The important words are, WHAT WE CAN AFFORD.
The only solution offered by the KEIOC group is to wait until someone with a spare couple of hundred million just happens along.
The board can deal with a situation only with the means at its disposal.
Should adopt the same attitude KEIOC it would be an act of criminality.

Nice contribution Anthony. Nice to see I’m not the only blue with these thoughts.
