Are we being (well) served

So we are, as Joe Wightman suggests, being 'given' 50 mill. How naive! Tesco are not, not now, not ever, in the business of giving money away and not to the tune of 50mill.You can bet that even a simple halfprice giveaway / loss leader on a tin of beans will be offset by a penny or two on lots of other things...It just isn't done that way.

What will probably happen is that we will pay, out of the Sky money, or where ever, ala West Ham (and I think the redsox)'x' per month/quarter/ season until the sum plus any interest...and there will be interest, coz again, NOBODY lends long term mega millions for nothing. So believe in the magic fund fairy if you will, as mooted by those other alliterative effers the fortress fund, but I think anybody who does so is deluding themselves in the quest for a new ground and will snatch at anything to get what they think they want, but that's their perogative.

Also the claim that Davie will get an extra 10mill (on top of the five eights of fuck all for this season and others??) seems to smack of jam tomorrow (but never jam today) 'never mind the quality feel the width' ( it will ride up, or down, with wear) just coz they say it's a bargin and is 'on sale' AND reduced doesn't make it so (joe, or who ever you maybe dear reader)

For the situation to descend completly in to farce, as if it isn't well on the way under it's own steam, all required is the obligatory mention of Mrs Slocum's wet pussy drying in front of the oven...You can see it now...which ever way the vote goes the disappointed will claim fiddle and it will be carry on up the East Lancs to cries of we're all doomed, doomed I say, or they don't like it up em Capt. Kenwright...'Are you free Mr. Kenwright?'...looks over both shoulders (at the same time, thats how bent all this is, hey Mr Humphreys)... Yes I'm free Mr Leahy, well so long as I can sell my shares for a good sized trouser full...Oooh your are awful Mr Kenwright (damn right about that sunshine!!) yes, it's called an exit strategy...exits stage rich!!

Derek, are you on another planet - oh, no you’re in New Zealand so what explains your queer type of journalism... god knows!

I agree with what you are trying to say Derek, but got a little lost on the final paragraph...

Do you know what makes me laugh? It’s the, were getting the stadium virtually free line from some fans.As you say Derek,Tesco don’t give anything for free.I am still un-easy about us getting involved with them.I can see it now,we are in Kirkby screaming for new signings.BK coming out and saying "there won’t be any big signings for 3 seasons, because we have to pay Tesco all this money we owe them"

Surely the existing debt of say £60m I await to be corrected plus a £75m debt of the asbodome which will be leased (199 year lease is still a lease you slimy bastard Wyness) puts the club in even greater debt, why would a potential investor want to buy into over £130m of debt and the smallest squad in the premiership?
