Pienaar and Vogel aren’t included because they haven’t signed yet. As For Shandy I’ve no idea why he isn’t there I just hope its a mistake by the Everton site

AVDM is a quality player, IF (yes its a big if) he gets fit it’ll be like having a new signing - personally I still have faith in the boy.

BTW, its Wetherspoons.

I think there was something on Everton TV (in his interview) when his fear of flying (must be a Dutch thing - Bergkamp) was mentioned. Could this be the reason?

Spot on Tony.I can’t believe these fans who keep going on about him being quality.Yeah, maybe about 6years ago.People forget that he had all these problems in his time with Inter, thats why they got shut. You also have to remember, he is on great wages at the club, but has done fuck all to actually earn them.If I acted like him in my job I would have well been sacked by now.For me he has well and truly used all his chances up.

With Beer and Spirits readily available on all major airlines these days I dont see the reason why he’s afraid of flying.

Plenty of sauce Andy, and its free !!

Get a bottle of Scotch down you lad and jump on the plane rat arsed for all I care but stop with these stupid fucking excuses not to do your job.

Robbed dogs, burgled house,s, drinks spiked with drugs, preganent strippers, fear of flying.

With regards to Andy Van Der Meyde, playing for a club as prestigous as Everton Football Club comes with a lot of baggage. Some simply handle it better than others.

If he has a problem we shouldn’t single him out. He’s the victim. We should show him our support.

The question we should be asking is how we can balance Andys football attributes with his intake of sauce. Throughout history this country has seen many a great footballer scoring goals and mezmorizing defenders (Merson, Best, Dalian Atkinson).
These men can be also seen down the local with their clubs fans, the real people... Like you and me.
After all is Everton not ’the peoples club’??

With regards to the pregnant prostitute it wasn’t 48 hours before a match so i ask, Whats the problem ?? Give the man a break, what he does in his own time is his own business. I do recall that Mr Rooney was fond of the same but we were all up in arms when he decided to leave. We called him traitor!! At least we know Andy is loyal. Also he’s a great character in the dressing room. He has a funny dance that cracks up the likes of Johnson, Cahill and Arteta. Are we not happy with these 3 players contributions last season?? Come on.

I suggest possibly bringing in a motivational coach. The likes of George Graham would be advisable, who throughtout the 90’s succeeded in getting the best out of Adams, Parlour and Merson.

Come on Andy !! NSNO

Just looking at the Everton squad for the US trip and it really does hit home how bare our squad really is. There are only 15 outfield players!! Not a lot of cover there for a long season of 50 games or so. Granted Cahill is not there but it is still worryingly small.

The Everton squad for the tour is: Tim Howard, Iain Turner, Phil Jagielka, Phil Neville, Tony Hibbert, Joleon Lescott, Joseph Yobo, Alan Stubbs, Mikel Arteta, Anderson de Silva, Lee Carsley, Leon Osman, Nuno Valente, James Beattie, Andrew Johnson, James McFadden, Victor Anichebe.

Also any reason why AvdM is not included or is this just another typo from the OS?

Let's hope we add Pienaar and Vogel to add to the numbers!!

I whole heartedly agree with Jake! Andy has his problems but what the heck, dont we all. I would love to see Moysie take the boys on a pre-season tour to the dam, and let everyone see where Andy inherited his misunderstood characteristics.

Perhaps he could advise ozzie on how to build up his physique a little. However, I do believe he could get some advise on cleaning his hair from Nuno..

I heard a rumour the twat has got a company Ferrari!

I think your company car should be chosen in relation to your previous seasons performances.

Therefore give Arteta the Ferrari and get Shandy a Grifter.

Its going to be a tough season with a small squad so if AVDM (drunken waste of space), Vaughan (injury-prone), Turner (one last chance) and Beattie (needs his ass kicked) don’t shape up and pull their weight then they must be shown the exit.

As Wright, Naysmith and Pistone have already discovered there’s no room passengers this season.
