Kit Buying

Comments (22)

I went to buy my new shirt today. Norfolk is not known for its shops full of Everton gear but with JJB being a proper Toffee retailer I was confident a succesful trip. I entered the shop, there was the big LFC display, the Arsenal display, Manure, Chelski, Celtic and Rangers - but where was the Everton display. After much hunting I finally found five (yes five) Everton shirts buried in the middle of the Chelski tat. Nothing for the kids, no other merchandise just 5 shirts.

What sort of deal do we have with JJB? Cos if it is costing the club any money it ain't worth it.

Similar story in the Gloucester & Cheltenham branches of JJB - high street & "superstore" - just a handful of shirts, no display, no shorts, socks etc. Better than last year though - absolutely nothing in any of the local branches. I agree, JJB are not doing anything to promote our kit. I would encourage all Blues fans to buy direct from the club - that way, Everton get the money rather than JJB (and be extension - Wigan).

Buy from the club sure - but also tell them about this, they can then push JJB to do better.

Same problem in Birmingham. Massive Livercrap and Arsenal stand but just five or six Everton shirts. I say stuff JJB, they are bloody useless. Had the same problem last year. Ive now ordered from Everton direct however cant have a name and number for some daft reason. Have to take it to a JJB outlet to get it done. Couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery these lot.

Norwich - try getting Everton merchandise in Ipswich!
To be fair to JJB their stores in Aintree and Bromborough do stock a fair amount of Everton stuff when compared to their Red Sh!te wares.

I have never been able to find anything to do with everton in any of the London JJB stores i think it’s a joke. Do we have to live in Liverpool to support them? our local JJB is huge and has almost every team but Everton what is going on. We went to brighton JJB and they said the do sell them but have none in stock probable because they are the only JJB to sell Everton stuff and everyone it going in to buy. It’s mad i think as a team we are not thought of with any respect. Come on Everton show them how good we are this season.

I wholeheartly agree, great postings guys.
This morning i went into the JJB store on church street Liverpol with my little boy Simon and there was very little Everton merchandise to be seen.

We were looking for the new kit and there were only 2 XL’s left. Both with Van Der Meyde 7 on the back !!

Come on JJB !! NSNO

Dont JJB own all the rights to Everton kit sales even those at Everton,s megastore? Fathead sold off the rights last year so it doesnt matter where you buy the kit the club doesnt get the profits.

Its the same with the catering as well that has been out sourced to a private company and we dont make any money from that.

The whole club is a shambles and that is why I am constantly banging on about Kenwright and Wyness being useless Twats.

Kenwright thinks the answer to all our problems is to up sticks and move to Kikby.A move that will surely backfire in the long term and condem us to be forever on the outside looking in.

As a club we are being dragged deeper and deeper in to the shit
by these 2 clowns. What can any one do ?Well thats the million dollar question isnt it?

Like always we just sit back suck it up, and pray it turns out well.

It very rarely does though.

Sold off by Dick Turpin Wyness for another fat wad in his own sky rocket, funnily enough JJB sales also surely go toward Wigan, nonsense from the thief and his master.

You’ll be happy to know that down here in Cardiff right now, there is a big Everton display along with plenty of home and away shirts, and to make it even sweeter, it stands domineering over a rack of crappy RS shirts!
