Doom and Gloom

We are officialy the unluckiest football club in the Premier League. We didn't choose to support Everton when we were kids ? it was in our blood. It just felt right, it was a way of life. Liverpool fans were arrogant big-mouthed and full of shite. However, God tickled us with football´s equivalent of the ugly stick and we fell from a very big height hitting every branch on the way down. Hard.

We have NO money to buy players. A bullshitting chairman. A possible future in Kirkby (can't hear many fans rejoicing) 1 measly trophy in 20 years, a threadbare squad, the Vogel and Peinar deals are falling through as we speak, Shandy's done another runner and (this one grieves me the most), Vaughny is out injured again before a ball has been kicked in the Prem. I feel tremendously for him first and foremost but as a fan it's incredibly frustrating. The Man U-Tevez deal looks off so Smith won't be coming our way in all likelihood either. Need some good news about EFC to cheer myself up. Just bloody lost me job as well...

Wotcher Ron! You forgot to mention 2 World Wars, Heysel, Puskas being denied a visa, Clive Thomas, Jeff Astle, Nev falling down a rabbit hole somewhere in Europe, Bracewell’s ankle, etc.
By the way, when I was a kid, Liverpool FC was hardly ever mentioned; I’d heard of South Liverpool and me dad was mates with someone called Billy Liddell but that was about all I knew. Ah! happy days.

Panathinaikos in the 70s. The German ref in the away leg at AC Milan 75/76 seasons Eufa cup tie.How about 3 cup final defeats in 5 years to the RS. Denied a treble
by playing an FA Cup final 3 days after Rotterdam. .Aidrian Heath breaking his leg when he was on fire just before his England call was about to be announced.Alan Hansens hand ball in the Milk Cup Final in 84.Football being banned from the telly in the 80s when we were at our peak. The list is endless boys .I think I will go and top myself.
