Kenwright & Moores

Interesting to look at both of these fans who are (were) chairman of the club they supported. On the one hand we had one who knew he couldn't find the funds to develop the team and build a new stadium so he finds investors who can take the club on and bows out gracefully.
I know he made a tidy profit but he clearly put the club first. On the other hand we have the other one who refuses to consider any other investor taking the club forward, despite the end result of relying on a supermarket to help us build a second-rate stadium out of the city.

Who are all these investors that have lined up and Everton have turned away, I’m just curious? And a second rate stadium being built? I know you don’t like the Chairman but at least some people point to facts. I don’t remember the lot that bought out the shite first asking Everton if they could buy us, nor were the Glazers turned down by us first, or any of these other foreign investors. And if it does resemble that German stadium it will be very nice, unlike all these bowl stadiums that take away all the atmosphere at a match.

How do you know that the ground will be second rate when the plans are not being released until tomorrow morning.

A fairer statement would be that we neither know whether or not investors have been turned away but BK has a track record of lies and his ongoing silence from his infamous 24/7 statement smells fishy.

I’ve heard it all now......Moores has left them in up to £450 million of debt whilst personally walking away with £80 odd million.
and you think that’s putting the club first??

With so many clubs already being snapped up by investors I find it very hard to believe that there haven’t been approaches for a club of Everton’s stature. It really doesn’t make any sense. Even the minnows of the game have been getting investors left right and centre. As far as us not being attractive because of our old stadium and the cost of a new one/redevelopment...... Liverpool similarly could not afford their new stadium, the US investors in Liverpool simply negotiated a massive loan.

How do I know it is going to be a second rate stadium. Simple really look at the amount it is going to cost compared to other stadiums going to be built/or built.
Investment it defies logic that in the current climate no one has contacted Everton about investing in the club. There have been reports in more than one paper stating that investors have been interested in Everton. We also have the administrator of NSNO site stating that he personally knows that Keith Wyness has passed 3 investment proposals to Bill Kenwright in the last 12 months.

Well John, if nsno.co.uk says it it must be true. Just like they said Richardson and Nolan were at Bellefield having medicals and signing autographs, and how they said we were not in talks with Peinar, but his current club have said they are talking to us. That is the worst site there is for Everton news, or any news for that matter. And the stadium is said to cost around 150 Million, not 75.

So 'our Bill' has decided to give Evertonians a vote on the future of our once great club. A vote that, regardless of the outcome, will it seems be ignored as ? no matter what anyone thinks ? Blue Bill is moving us ? lock, stock and barrel ? to Clubcard Stadium in La La land. For some, Blue Bill may finally deliver after so many false dawns; I for one don't believe the truth. What has Bill actually achieved that Agent Johnson didn't?
Both promised and failed on delivering World class stadia ? have we already forgotten the Kings Dock? ... Oh, sorry, Bill, that was Liverpool City Council's fault!
Investment on the transfer front. Take out the sale of Rooney etc and Blue Bill has sanctioned spending to the tune of £12 million in the last four years, £3 million a year?? Hey big spender.
Investment in the club. NTL ? spent the money before we signed anything. Fortress Sports Fund. Hello anyone!
On the plus side, moving to La La Land will generate £10 million a season for Moyesie. Yeah right. Even if it did, what does £10 million get you nowadays?
Johnson was run out of the club for his mis-handling of our club, and the fact he was a red.
Did Blue Bill ever have a season ticket for Anfield? I wonder... Agent Kenwright, anyone???

David,I’m a bit confused here. Now,we were told tesco could build a £75m stadium with the contractors they use for £50m.We then have to find £10m to kit out the interior of the stadium.Knowsley council have supplied the land which we won’t own.Apart from not saying we won’t own the land, the costing was made in the statement by Wyness. Is it because there is a bit of unrest among the fans, saying we are not going to get much of a stadium. Then all of a sudden Wyness comes out and denies making that quote, and says it is now going to cost £150m.Anything to get the yes vote methinks.

Well put MR Harper I to do not believe fairy tales also if he sells after the move is it not likely the new owner would use similar tactics as the yanks at anfield and old trafford and we will be in debt
