Dear Warren,
Why did you keep this information about the other sites to yourself? I don't go with the "exclusivity" bollocks as every good leader has a leak (to the press). Oh, one more thing: who are the commercial partners who are interested? And why?

Dear Bill,
Did you know about Warren's proposals?

Dear Terry,
Would you cough up for a stadium on these sites?

Dear Davey & the lads,
Just sort the footy out and leave the rest to sort the other stuff out.

Dear Keith,
Why don't you just piss off back over the border?

Dear Evertonians,
Goodison is a non-starter. I've been going since 1960. Not only is she knackered but the surrounding areas just can't cope with it anymore, no matter what the locals say.

Scottie Road sounds decent but Long Lane (Taskers area) does it for me. A NEW GROUND is a MUST so wherever it is, let's just do it ? and that includes the Kirkby option.

Walton’s dead yet Anfield is alive and well..... how does that work?

In an ideal world I’d like the stadium to be in Speke. It’d be nice to have the shite in the North and us in the South. Plus, it’s less congested. I always find Goodison and the surrounding area to be far too congested on a match day.

Dead? I didn’t say Walton as dead. I am an ex L4 resident, who goes back weekly, match or no match, but it just can’t cope on matchdays anymore, not to mention Goodison. I also don’t give a flyin’ fahook about analfield, (people excluded!). No disrespect.

I live 5 mins from speke, and think it would be almost as disastrous as Kirkby..... and worse in some respects. Lets not even get into polarising the city like Manchester. North and south? People used to fight wars over stuff like that!

Ah, yeah, I forgot. We only started on Hitler because he wanted to move Bayern’s ground closer to the annual beer festival.

Mark, you say the surrounding area can’t cope with it anymore.Thats the problem I have with Kirkby.By the time you put the stadium there and the big shopping centre next door, imagine the amount of traffic on matchday, fans and shoppers all trying to get to the one area.

Brian, a valid point, but if you look at Goodison, or Anfield..40-50000 fans exiting an area designed for low density traffic;, its not going to be any worse for the same amount plus lets say 2000 shoppers (if they all decide to leave or arrive at the same time) from an area specifically organised for high density traffic with projected figures in mind. There will apparently be park and ride and a tramway installed..but it will be purpose designed- in fact it has already started and will continue whether were there or not.

Brian,
We are lead to believe that the Kirkby option comes with new transport links. Does anyone know if LCC are proposing new links at the "other sites"?

Mark,
If the other site is the more central (Off Scotland Rd) one, Why would you need additional links. The city centre handles approx 100,000 commuters every rush hour with ease, there is capacity for more than double that. Public transport falls dramatically as you move away from the centre, such is basic logistics of a single focal point city. By the time you get to Walton just 2 miles from town it is approx 1/5th town’s capacity, by the time you get to Kirkby its about 3,000 people per hr. In otherwords this kirkby site will be a car reliant venue (even with a tram). Try rush hr access to and from kirkby..... I did it for 6 years via every mode of transport. Just few thousand industrial estate workers choke the place in no time, 50,000 Evertonians will sink it. This will always be the case without further routes out of the city.

BREAKING NEWS

Warren Bradley Liverpool Council Leader has just said he is confident that Everton can still be kept in the city, the Everton Council Leader has come up with 4 new sites which would mean everton could stay in the city. We were the first in the city, we gave the reds our old ground it says 1887on our shirts not 1882 we asked for stanley park first and we were turned down, as its an ’open park’ for ’locals’ and a ’playing area’ yet, the RS get the go ahead?

Season Ticket Holders get the vote we dont, every evertonian should send a letter in of protest that simply says " KEIOC " keep everton in our city. It is simply worth a try as we are the peoples club, SPEAK UP NOW OR REGRET IT LATER!!! "Together we tand, dived we fall"

Bring the LCC to court for the stanley park matter and see what happens.

If liverpool can have stanley park why cant Everton have walton hall park?? Its big enough and worth asking the council about it, we should start a new organisation called WWW :

We
Want
Walton

We should ask KEIOC to pass these ideas on, and as John said ^ if LCC refuse the idea then ask them why Liverpool F.C can have Stanley Park which is a smaller park than Walton Hall Park
