'No' voters have been given additional hope with the news that sites are available within the city and that Warren is "confident" that a deal can be done.
To those who take issue with the idea of neglecting the many opportunities to spend money within the ground or at the shop, do suggest an alternative way to make moneymen listen. Reasoned argument over a small sweet sherry? Or an avuncular hand on Wyness' shoulder, "Now look here, old boy ..."
And if anyone sincerely believes that such an embargo would affect the strength of the playing squad, may I wonder if short term pain is preferable to long term Kirkby? The time is critical. Strong answers are required.

It is extremely well-known that Everton have been looking to build a newe ground within the Liverpool city boundaries for several years. In that time, the LCC has not offered, nor is it offering now, to provide Everton with some free or heavily discounted land on which to build a ground. In that time, no investor or investors has come forward to fully or partly fund the development of an Everton football ground. Not one.
Now it could be the case, as many of you seem to believe, that, at the eleventh hour, the LCC and unnamed investors are ready, willing and able to fund the development of an Everton ground within the city boundaries. But don’t you think it even slightly surprising that at this late stage we have no idea who these people are or what they are offering or where we are going to build?
Don’t you perhaps think it more likely that Mr Bradley is now engaged in a political damage limitation exercise to avoid becoming ’the man who drove Everton out of the city’? Yet even now he is coming up with nothing concrete.
On the one hand we have no specified site, no plausible funding, and obvious political arse-covering. On the other, we have a long-standing, well-developed commitment from Knowsley and Tesco to fund the building of a new stadium for Everton Football Club.
There is something, you know, about a bird in the hand being worth two in the bush. But this is a matter of a bird in the hand being worth something that might be a bush (and maybe has a bird in it).

I’ve no problem agreeing with you. Let BK say to WB: "Okay, what have you got son? And it better be good - because times are moving on and we are skint!"
Problem is Bradley is already quoted as saying such things as "Surely Everton can attract investment the way Liverpool did". He has no more idea where the new money is coming from than we do. But let’s give him a chance.
My personal theory (no insider sources here either!) is that Kirkby will be built, and at that stage Everton will be an extremely attractive proposition to a major new investor (largely debt free, new ground, good squad, great fans etc. etc.). Bill will then stand aside, making a tidy profit in the process. But it’s not a bad scenario for Everton.
The problem with getting a big new investor in so far I can only assume is that no-one wanted to take on the responsibility of paying for the new ground.

In response to your last theory though I will say one thing, Portsmouth.

If the truth be told, I find it hard to imagine that BK couldn’t have found a big investor for Everton some time ago - one who would have been willing to fund a ground in the city. Unfortunately I think it’s too late for that now, and we have to make the best of a bad job. The investor will still have to come later - BK hasn’t the long term money to take our club where it needs to go.
Since I am pretty sure that Bradley is arse-covering and grandstanding, I very much look forward to your letter to him!

Nothing Warren Bradley has said has made an iota of difference to that basic fact. All he is doing is defending his own political arse. In the most disgraceful manner he is providing hope to Evertonians where no hope actually exists.
If you vote "no" because of Mr Bradley’s fictitious, last minute sites - then God help us all.
