Kirkby or Not

The proposed move to Kirkby and the up and coming vote: Ask yourself one simple question
Do you trust, beyond a shadow of a doubt, Kenwright, Wyness and the board to deliver what is right for Everton FC ? the fans and future fans?
If your answer is yes then consider these points:-
Fortress Sports Fund
Kings Dock fiasco
Lack of transfer funding
Constant lies
etc
How many contradicting statements have we heard just this week? Let's face it ? they can?t even make their minds up as to the cost of this venture, let alone who will have the deciding vote ? the fans or the board.
Use your vote wisely. Don?t be fooled by fancy pictures and expect what you see, it rarely happens. Ask yourselves if we are incapable of filling Goodison on a regular basis with the style of football on show, how the hell are we going to fill a 55,000 stadium? If we can?t fill it then the 10 million transfer kitty per season doesn?t look very likely does it (bearing in mind the way things are going this will equate to only one mediocre signing per season any way).
This is not the last chance saloon they would have us believe, if the vote doesn?t go their way, they just might have to seriously start looking 24-7 to find an investor who can deliver the goods and who has the financial backing to take Everton to the next level because one thing is certain Kenwright & Co sure as hell can?t.
By the look of things we won?t be getting any American investors real soon judging by the display against Real Salt Lake, how many more embarrassing displays of hoof it football can we take, I thought we had seen the last of that god help us this up and coming season if we still haven?t grasped the concept of passing instead of hoofing.
Those of you who think the Kirkby move is the answer to all our prayers think again we need quality on the pitch - to fill the stadium ? sell the corporate facilities ? to generate the money. My advice would be - strengthen the team and in time the rest will follow, let?s walk before we can run.

The stadium project costs are as follows
50m for the land
50m construction costs which will equate to 75m of building work as Tesco builders are going to do the job at cost.
£25m of fiting out costs funded by everton via £15m raised from the sale of Goodison and £10m of funds from naming rights and debt.
Simple really but I suspect you knew that all along.

Almost everything Mr Wyness has said in the last week smacks of a deliberate lie, an embellishment or huge exaggeration which could be shot out of the water by any junior reporter. This shameful newspaper would print "Martians are building a free stadium which will be sponsored by Nasa for £100 million" if Wyness, via Rodgers, asked them to. Like one of many old Wyness lines they printed: "We will get £75 million for naming the new stadium. He has now quoted 3 different figures for the Kirkby job: £75M, £100M and £150M, all in a week.
