Am I missing something?

Did West Ham not get away with it on the grounds that Tevez no longer had a relationship with his agent? Do the current legal writs, etc, prove this not to be the case? Will West Ham eventually be docked points, Sheff Utd stay up, Jags release clause be revoked, and we end up having to give our only real signing back - and then get Naysmith back!?

Come to think of it, there's no smoke without fire, so the RS deal for Maschareno must be tarnished as well, so perhaps they'll be docked the odd ten points, then the likes of Torres will be queueing up to play in our new stadium. Excuse me now, the nurse is coming...

Robin I am having sleepless nights over this issue mate believe me but moving to Kirkby will not solve our financial troubles. It will only serve to make us a weaker club that we already are now.It may need a miracle to save us but the alternative is a slow death out in that place. The best of it is though its all top secret and changing its shape and form on a daily basis.Who knows what BK and Fathead our signing us up for.
Lets stay put and see what develops is my idea.

Seems like only yesterday when football had a salary cap. The most a player could officially earn was 20 pounds per week, a sum that still was twice the average wage.
In cash or kind backhanders and other inducements were rife as clubs found ways to dodge the cap.
Backed by a media campaign and the high court, players were freed from their so called enslavement. Then came the Bosnan ruling and even greater freedom for players.
Lately we hear that Tevez is ’owned’ by a third party. Does this mean the wheel has turned full circle and players are again slaves but this time to a different kind of slavemaster.

The agent is the worst thing to happen to sports, other than Liverpool supporters of course. But seriously, the agents need to be wiped out of the game by Fifa, period. Players can hire attorneys to negotiate contracts, and then be done with it. If Fifa had any balls this is what they would do. It would greatly clean up the game, put all of those out of work lawyers back to work, and bring back team loyalty, as players wouldn’t have some money hungry agent who does absolutely nothing to earn his paycheck other than tell the player he should demand more money or move to the next club. If money is so important to these athletes today, why can’t they realize how much money they could save by not having an agent leeching off of their salary.
