The Mail Bag

Look To The Future

Yes I am an out-of-towner; No I don't want to move to Kirkby, unless I really have to.

My reason for wanting a NO vote in the poll is simply to give us more time. The powers that be tell us that their is no possibility of outside investment unless we move to Kirkby. I don't believe that. My belief is that if we went to investors with a variety of options then somebody would be interested. Imagine being associated with an iconic stadium in the loop, with underground carparking, bars and restaurants. Enviromentally friendly, pleasing to the eye, and still maintaining the atmosphere. Something a certain red stadium probably won't.

So vote NO to a move to Kirkby for now. Stop arguing amongst ourselves and start using the massive Blue fanbase to turn these late alternatives into deliverable alternatives.
