EFC move to Kirkby

Comments (1)

I would like to know if you can confirm that every shareholder in Everton Football Club gets a vote for each individual share they hold, in the ballot to decide if Everton leave the City of Liverpool and move to Kirkby. If correct, if 40,000 fans voted NO to the move, it wouldn't make any difference, as the major shareholder can outvote them.

Mr Kenwright & Woods being major shareholders and EFC Board members are now going to receive more support to the number of shares that they will have to vote Yes to, as I understand that Robert Earl (who bought out Mr Gregg), has of today, joined the Board of EFC.

I know we can be somewhat skeptical of the Everton Board and its memnbers at times, but this fear is pretty daft. Since it's one vote per season-tickest holder, even if you have three season tickest in your name, than I'm sure it is also one vote per shareholder. Otherwise, for the reasons you cite, what would be the point of the ballot? I haven't got the time or the patience to re-read the Wyness interview by MBE, but didn't he ask this question? Or is the answer so obvious it doesn't warrant asking?

I am sure I read somehwere that it is one vote per share-holder and one vote per season ticket holder. If you are fortunate enough to have both then it is still only one vote per person and they are not transferable
