The Mail Bag

Alternative to Kirby

Would anybody have any objections to the Blues coming to Birkenhead? I know the council leader's a Blue (true) as I know him personally. For me, it would be a dream come true... and for all those visiting from what would then be "over the water", I could ease your passport applications through no bother at all.

And what a perfect way to hopnour the town of Dixie's birth! As well as all the legions of Blues from the Wirral who get short shrift from "proper" scousers...

Er, No, I think you're on to a loss-leader with this one, Brian!

Sorry lads it was a little tongue in cheek I’ve got to admit. I wanted to lighten the mood a bit after the postings (mine included) on the proposed ground move had become somewhat "heated"....It would be a dream come true for me though *L*

As a fellow Wirral Blue, nice idea Bri but knowing our Council it would a chance to screw us over even more. Maybe you could have a word with your mate about the bins...

To be fair Roy the pubs round the ground our Tranmere Haunts. Sadly, gone are the days when you could have a friendly drink in a rivals boozer.

On the plus side of staying in Liverpool, my car got bricked and the stereo nicked whilst I was ’entertained’ at Goodison. For ease of use next time lads - I keep the removable console in the glove compartment, sure everyone else that were ’greeted’ in the same area were as chuffed as me !

Will Kirby be offering employment opportunities to young lads to watch over our cars ? Or will LCC accomadate the current incumbrants by arranging matchday travel to the suburbs ?

Thing is....thats a comedy. I’m sure ALL Blues either from Liverpool or the Wirral (doesn’t matter to me)will agree.
There’s fuck all funny about our clubs situation at present !
