Shut Up

Comments (22)

I've never read such a load of diertribe in all my life. Move or not, move when and were? No transfers, no money etc... Thank goodness we've got a game of football at Goodison on Tues (thats if it's still standing). Let's get on with the football. We had a great season last season. We're in for another great seaon this year, yes with ups and downs. Have you lot forgotten "We're The Finnest Team In All The Land And We're Known As EVERTON". Come on you Blues, and the rest of you please "shut up"

No, Michael, why don't you shut up. Coz there are people on here who contribute to this site with superbly preapared research and analysis (Joe Beardwood) or unparalleled insights into what has really gone on (Greg Murphy), that any self-respecting fan should be truely grateful to read.

Also, there is a lot of heartfelt concern over current issues like the ground move and the lack of transfers. I'll admit there is far too much repetition of the same old points other people have already said, people asking the same boring questions like "Where will the extra fans come from?" but the lively and extendiong discussion reflects the concerns of your fellow Evertonians. Now if you don't happen to share those concerns, that's fine. But the last thing YOU need to be doing is telling THEM to shut up. Okay?

well said Michael k, but think Michael s just tryin to focus attention on football, but gone wrong way about it, do agree totally with your points though MK the articles on here must be some of the best i have read and include so much research, even though i disagree with many postings i do respect the time and research people put in.

I have been informed that Alan Smith is staying in the Marriot in Town for the week while he completes his swith to us.

My friend is a DJ and was DJ?ing at Jermaine Pennants party on Sunday night and Alan Smith was there.

My friend asked him why he was down these ways and he told him that after 3pm today, he will be an Everton player.

I have made my friend swear on everyones life under the sun, that he?s not winding me up. He assured me 100% that he is telling the truth and he has heard it from the horses mouth.

Check the website after 3pm!!!

He also told me that Beattie will be leaving and its agreed!!

COYB!!!!

Ben, you’ll forgive me if I don’t hold you to your Alan Smith prediction.

We had a rumour on here not long ago stating the the Smith deal was done over a month ago... Clearly it wasn’t.

Also, the prediction assumes Alan Smith has been or is having a medical - something which has not been reported either.

Fair point.....

But, "we do things the everton way" remember??

I am not holding my breath either to be honest but its not like my mate to say something like this, and swear down. He told me Alan Smith told him himself.

Also, there was rumours being announced just before the ballot, to increase the feel good factor to get a "yes" to Kirby.

Fingers crossed.

There’s another song called "On the banks of the royal blue Mersey". Which Kirkby isn’t. This is more important than tomorrow’s friendly.

If we sign Smith by 3pm today I’ll eat the mouldy bread that’s been in my cupboard for three weeks, I’ll quit my job and I’ll join a hippy commune.

BTW I just want tickets for the Everton - Wigan game, I’ve been on the phone since 9am, I got through to a real live operator at 11am and as she was doing the purchase the systems crashed, and they are still not back on, it’s so frustrating. Ugggggh.

Are we sure that we are the finnest team in all the land, we don’t even have any Finnish players do we?

Yeah Ben, I dont’ know your mate that well, but why didnt you stall it to Jeremy Pennant’s party? You could have handed him records or something.. I’d of done it had I known there’d be aload of footballers there!

Just chucked my mouldy bread out, ripped up my resignation and phoned the hippy commune to tell them it was a no go.

Someone’s been had.

I’ll resubmit what I submitted earlier in a new post but hasn’t appeared yet...

That is that a rumour on the BBC Website says that Newcastle are after Smith for £6M. And a further rumour states that Man City might up that to £7M.
And a further rumour....

It this more reliable than a DJ ?

Go look at the website.

There’s talk of Sunderland and Middlesborough putting bids in as well.

But I’m happy to believe the DJ - can he give me the winning lottery numbers for Wednesday?
