The Mail Bag

Conspiracy?

I read a fans opinion on some website about the proposed move. At the time I thought it was pretty wild but I am beginning to agree with a modicum of the theory. Mr Tesco has merely engineered the 'proposed' site etc so that LC will almost panic into providing another option. The CEO has spun the story and made various claims but no other club to my knowledge consults or has consulted the fans over a proposed ground move. EFC know the answer will be a No, but even if it is LC have already been stirred into action judging by the press. If the vote is a yes it puts more urgency into LC finding an equal offer to that of Sir 'Two for one'. It may be an unlikely scenario but if not it could be a stroke of genius to keep us in Liverpool! Trust though that the acumen came from Sir Terry not Bill or Keith.

Yeah,I bet Terry Tesco has nothing better to do with his days than try to trick LCC into building a stadium for Everton! Of all the conspiracy theories this has to be the daftest! :)

David, what about the cost of all the work that has gone into the Kirkby proposal?Terry Tesco has to answer to someone. And I would imagine, they wouldn’t be happy their money being used in some kind of hoax to get LCC moving.
