Can the people who post things like "my friends uncle's next door neighbours dog walker saw (insert random footballers name) and it turns out he's going to join Everton" please stop. It's getting a bit tiresome and its infantile (unless of course it actually is true ? in which case have at it).

Errr... I think that's the problem, Declan. These people actually believe the inside info is really true. Like the bloke who told us definitively a few weeks back that Beattie had been (not "will be") transferred too Blackburn Rovers. Name and shame, I say!

I can see your point..I only believe we have signed a player when I see him running out at Goodison in the blue shirt..If we believed all the paper talk and gossip then we would all have this image of a world beating Everton eleven and a super strong substitutes bench..Just take it with a pinch of salt
