Why Do We Do It?

Comments (1)

It has already happend this summer and I am afraid that it is going to happen again; Everton missing out on quality players that are desperate to play for the club. First of all Nugent, now it looks as though we may miss out on Baines and Smith. If rumours are correct, then either Man Utd or Liverpool are in for Baines depending on the Heinze situation and Newcastle have been allowed to speak to Smith. Why do we continue to dither over signing players? Why are Liverpool going to extreme lengths to sign Heinze? Because he is desperate to play for them.

All this talk about a new stadium suits Kenwright & dittering Dave. It is a convient interuption, to take the growing pressure off the badly needed squad players. Moyes quotes on numerous occasions that the squad is tread bare, yet as of to-day still no signings, has he no balls,is he just a yes man, "yes Bill,i agree with you, we will wait till January" will be the talk between the two. when Benitez thought the yanks were not going to put their hands in their pockets he screemed that he cannot compete with Man-U or Chelsea, he was told we will not buy clowns, (hopefully he has) but the point is, he made a stance and see what has happened 50 million quid later, he is still looking for players( Baines the latest rumor)yet we cannot compete with Wigan, Sunderland, Fulham, to mention just a few of the smaller players in the field, dare not mention the middle tier, Man-City, Aston Villa, West Ham, Newcastle, then the top table we all know the four. hand on heart does any Evertonian believe that we will finish 6th this season, simple truth is the opposition have re-grouped and got stronger, HAVE WE.
