What About You, Blue?

Comments (11)

Jeez, my head is in a spin! What with the most important decision the club has faced in over one hundred years, and on top of that all the additional worry about the forthcoming season and whether we can kick on with such a small, but decent squad. I'm spending an almost unhealthy amount of time thinking about it all.

So what about a bit of light relief? Reading through the comments on one of the stadium articles I came across this gem from Alex May - God bless you sir, you made me laugh and realise I wasn't alone in my "behaviour".

Alex says of himself "...in fact someone so biased a blue that he won?t even drive past their ground, never mind go in it." No prizes for guessing who Alex is referring to. And my behaviour, well maybe not that unusual but I won't wear or buy anything that is red, and on a trip to Thailand would only drink Chang in preference to all other brews.

So come on. What about you, blue?

Classic! I knew I wasn’t alone!

I have turned bargains down because of it and won’t look twice at a hot chick wearing it!

Forever Blue!

Thou shall not drink Carlsberg
Thou shall not wear red or have anything painted red in or out the house (just had to repaint my front door - previous owners had it red ffs)
Thou shall not drive a red car
Thou shall not purchase a domestic appliance built by Candy
Thou shall not set foot inside Anfield

My ex next door neighbour was a red, he always had a laugh and a joke at my expense when our paths crossed.

Little did he know I was letting his tyres down on his van every other week.

Get a life, man! And grow up! Neandrathols like you give intelligent Evertonians and Brits a bad name.

I was 12 at the time Jesper, so I still had a lot of growing up to do. So if you think a 40 year old man taking the piss out of a 12 year old is alright then more fool you.

Oh and it’s spelt Neanderthal’s. So you can’t be that intelligent.

Other than a derby game circumstances beyond my control was the reason for my single visit to Analfield and that was a memorable occasion.
Burnley hammered the shite 4 - 0 and because of a recent run of poor form the great Bill Shankly came in for criticsm.
He walked (alone) to stand in front of the Kop with arms outstretched in a show of peace. The B******s jeered and booed him unmercifully as he trudged (still alone) back to his dug out.
For years later, red fans were embarrassed to be reminded of that episode.
