Did Shandy play last night, Toffeeweb mention on the frontpage blurb that he was shite but on the match report there's a player listed called Arteta van der Meyde who he?? On the OS Shandy isn't even listed for the game. I'm confused!

He appeared, complete with convict cut, for the last few minutes. The only notable contribution was to fall over a player who had been prone for some time.

As i have stated befor on ere, lets give the lad a break eh....at least until his daughter is better again. Being a dad myself i wouldnt give a rats arse how iplayed if i was concerend about my sick child. I know hes a bit of a piss head but this is just the latest in a long line of shit for VDM. Hes had his house burgled his car and his dog nicked.

I know hes got loads of doh and drives a ferrari but i do feel a bit sorry for him.

I agree with PL PL. Give the guy a bleedin break. He has unlimited amount of potential and is regarded by most as a fantastic footballer.

Theres nothing more exciting than the site of Andy flying up that left side. Defenders shake in their boot when they see him on the team sheet.
His work rate is first class, he has bags of skill and has gotten even faster since he’s shaved his head. What more could you ask for??

Come on Andy!!

Nobby I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not! But I love the bit about unlimited potential and I really love the bit about defenders shaking in their boot (sic) because surely only a one legged defender would be scared of the sight of shandy falling over them!!

I was amazed to see in the report the author having a pop at VDM when he only came on for the last 10 or 15 mins . If anyone deserved a slating it was phil Neville he was shocking yet again adds nothing to the team cant pass cant shoot yet he gets away with it .

Also VDM probibly didnt start as he has played 4 full 90 min games in pre season now and moyes wants to give other players minutes on the pitch .
