Box Office Fuck Up
Comments (16)
For all of those everton fans who live too far from Goodison to stroll up there and buy a ticket for the Wigan game...
I too will also be in a pub garden next Saturday - not in the Park End as planned...
It does make me chuckle. All this talk of new stadiums, new players, new investors... WE CAN'T EVEN GET OUR FUCKING BOX OFFICE UP AND RUNNING FOR THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!!!! AMATEURS!!!!

What you talking about mate?
Even if the ’e-ticketing’ is down you can still get them over the phone right now - 0870 442 1878.

You can hardly blame the club for any technical issues regarding ticketing - this is probably dealt with by a 3rd party anyway. I would suggest that you dont start on at David Moyes about this one fellas!

I just received my Season Card for 2007/08 , talk about cheap looking (in comparison to last season’s). Black and White and no obvious bar-coding or other type of security. Unless it’s only a specimen ticket. How is it going to gain me entry into the ground if there is no apparent bar-code?
Has anyone else had theirs posted to them yet?

You see what i’m getting at guys...
We can piss and maon about new stadiums and new players all we want... but if we cant even get the simple things right....
Looks like there is a real problem with tickets then if season ticket holders are having problems...

It’s back up lads, you may have to buy an Evertonia membership to get a ticket though as it’s only open to members at the mo.

John Mac Junior, I regard my season ticket/card as functional rather than a thing of beauty, and being an old fogey struggling to come to terms with modern technology, I can only assume that there will be an inbuilt security device. I imagine that entry to the ground will be as it was last season.
The old saying "You can fool some of the people some of the time etc." could be re-written to read, "You can "please" some of the people, etc."

I meant to include the observation, that if the card had been more elaborate, some supporters would have complained that the mony spent could have been put to better use, hence the reference to the old saying. I hasten to add that my remarks were not directed at any individual and I apologise if they caused offence.

Nearly had a heart attack when I finally got through and it wouldn’t take my card. Thankfully it took another.
Phew!

Just tried to get a ticket with the Everton fans for the Crystal Palace game on Saturday.
I spent two days trying to get through to the EFC box office, everytime I called I'm informed that they're shut. Just got though and guess what? Not selling tickets for that game. Tickets are £15 if you buy in advance and £20 on the door. As I'm taking the wife, I'm a tenner down. Let's hope I can get in, or I've driven to Croydon for nothing! Thanks Everton.
