Am I the only person that see signing a £6m Smith a worse option than keeping Beattie? Smith isn't exactly prolific is he and will surely command a higher wage. At least we all know Beattie has it in him to score 20+ and especially with us having wingers now, seems an odd move, although £4m does represent a good deal. But still, Beattie is better than Smith.

If the rumours are true then we should be using the 6M to buy another AJ, instead it appears we are chasing another Beattie.
He has no pace, goals, fitness or discipline, but like Beattie he has looks and nice hair. I’m beginning to think DM is gay.
