Stanley Park

I've been thinking of this for a while, but surely Stanley Park is big enough for two stadiums? We could have LFC in one part and us in another, and the council can't seriously refuse us permission if they're allowing them to build on a public park, surely that's setting the trend so we should be allowed on the same land?

And the site of Goodison now could be sold to a retail partner for help with finance and the two clubs could benefit from the same improved parking/travel etc etc? I can't see any reason why Liverpool should have permission and we couldn't have it if we pushed LCC. Here's a link to a map of Stanley Park, compare it to the size of the sites of Goodison and Anfield around it, plenty of room!

Blimey, what about the local residents? They must be pissed off enough about losing half the park, let alone the rest of it.

You can’t just dig up half a park based on the fact that someone is already planning on digging up the other half!
