So, the Beeb are confirming that Smith has indeed joined the Barcodes (dejavu anyone?), but, more worringly, they are also saying that Fat Sam is out to hijack the Leighton Baines deal. Come on Davey FFS, pull your bloody finger out!

We didnt even spend 4 million though did we?. We signed Jags from Sheff Utd then recieved 1 million back the next day for Naysmith..I am keeping my fingers crossed for the Baines deal and hope the bad news of his mother passing away is just pure stupid gossip..Come on Everton, dont let those Geordies have the last laugh again

If we don’t wrap up the signing of Baines then Kenwright and Wyness should be lined up and fucking shot!
We have turned into a laughing stock this summer and the only good things being said seem to come from Liverpool fans who don’t want us to leave the city.

And just look at the signings Liverpool have made?.. Fenando Torres..Trust me he will not be another Morientes, Liverpool got Morientes four years too late..Ive seen Torres close hand and he is a fucking genuine world beater..I wasnt too bothered when they signed Bellamy and Crouch but this signing does put the shits up me..Then they have brought in Babel who snubbed Arsena, to me it says something if Arsenal are in for you becsause we all know how ace Wenger is at pulling gems out of nowhere..A Dutch international winger ( who’s not an alky by the way ) and he was schooled at the Ajax academy..Then they have Benayoun who is another classy purchase and Vorinon a Ukrainian international striker..They have all to look forward to this season..I really didnt think that we could finish only three places behind them yet be so so far apart in reality in terms of the way the clubs are heading..How can we move to the next level without a backer?. We have to be serious..Everton are in danger now of falling behind even the also rans of the division and the transfer market has just exposed this point I am making.. We are an embarrassment its as simple as that.
