KEOIC

Comments (4)

Having previously labelled the KEOIC campaign a joke, I have to put my hand up and say I admire the effort that they've put in. From looking at the PDF doc, they really have worked hard to put something together. Not an easy thing to do when you have a day job and family on the side.

Whether you agree with the proposal or not, you cannot accuse them of being anything other than true blue with a passion for the great club of ours.

Until now Ive been very much a pro-Kirby blue because I want a new ground and we are being told thats the only choice. The work that KEIOC have done here is tremendous and they deserve a pat on the back. Its time for all blues to stand shoulder to shoulder and tell the club that we want a full and proper options appraisal carried out - and results publicised. Its no good KW just saying that its been looked at and dismissed - wheres the evidence. He’s been brought in on a fat wad to modernise the club and he wants quick easy fixes that ensure his equally fat bonuses. We are being taken for a ride by this man. Vote "NO" to Kirkby and lets use our collective power. We are not the fools that we are being taken for.

we are all missing one major vital point here. In ten years time goodison will be beyond repair. what happens if will still have no money to biuld our own stadium????
Do we expect LCC to bail us out, well they wont.
Or as a second option we find a new chairman willing to invest(lose) large amounts of money.
If we dont have moneyfor a stadium where will be play, beg liverpool to ground share for a while?? maybe move to prenton park??
We are in big trouble without an investor. Taking the kirkby option is the only option.
its live or die ,simple as, vote yes

Well done, Tom. A superior structure to Kirkby in just about every way. If nothing else, this proves how little imagination has been used for the Kirkby design.

Finance is now required to back this up. It’s probably out there, but is BK willing to let it in?

It has to be No to Kirkby. The design aint good enough, the location far from ideal and I smell self interest wafting from the Boardroom. Money is the root of all evil....

Gaz - remember it was Wyness who said that Goodison would be beyond repair in 10 years, there hasn’t been any evidence that this is actually the case. Given the scaremongering tactics that he and the board continue to employ, it’s important the question the validity of these ’facts’ before accepting them on face value.
I’m still on the fence, but the flow of half truths and made up, high impact scare stories coming from the board is rapidly turning me off Kirkby.
