New Seasoncard,... or is it?

Does anybody have any inkling as to why the new 2007/8 seasoncard has neither a Barcode or any security chip printed on them? Having contacted the club three days ago, I've yet to receive a reply. Surely not another cock-up and 24,000 season ticket holders locked out for the Wigan game?

I think that the strip on the back with the ground on it is magnetic and that is what will gain us entry!

This is pessimism at its worst!

By all means moan about the ground move, lack of investment, lack of signings but for God’s sake.....!

I’ve shown as many people as I can my new season ticket versus the old hologran model, I thought we were going for the single charge card model where it could be credited and used for purchases but to me it just looks like a cheap shite piece of white plastic with a grey monochrome picture on it, just as grey and meaningless as the current management, I do hope their is an uprising to fuck these clowns off once and for all for the sake of this dying club.

At least you’ve got yours, I’m still waiting. Think I’ll have to ring up on Monday. Surely I should get it sooner than the last few days before the season starts.

Then again a few years ago I didn’t get it at all and I had some messing around even though I handed my renewal in person at the box office.

Why are people moaning about what their season ticket looks like?? If it was embossed with gold leaf, and snazzy holograms, you’d be wondering how many players we could have bought with the money "wasted" on them! Get some perspective, please! As long as they let me in to the ground, does it really matter?? Jeez, some people will moan about anything and blame the "grey and meaningless" management... I suppose it’s their fault that it’s too fucking hot now after all those lovely downpours we’ve been having??

Can confirm that the magnetic strip is the pic of goodison on the card. COME ON EVERYONE, do we really care what the season card looks like. Let’s keep the moaning to what really matters ie. the lack of signings and the ground move :)
