The official website claims Arteta says, ?We have a better squad than two years ago to deal with being in Europe. We have more experience and much better prepared, we?ve grown together and have a great team spirit and that?s important for a team like us.? The website fails to elaborate on the quotes direct from Arteta (which can be seen on Websites such as Sky Sports, ITV.com, Daily Mail etc etc) which state "It is going to be a long season and we definitely need new signings," said Arteta in the Daily Mail.

"If everyone is 100 per cent and stays fit then maybe we will be okay, but if we get two or three injuries, we are going to need more players. "

The stupid bastards running the Club thing we are all as thick as pigshit — OK, I for one have fallen hook line a sinker by buying a season ticket. However, if we don?t get off to a good start and we get a few injuries the Board will be in for a hell of a bollocking from the terraces — hard hats required as well as the comfy blankets for the Directors box, methinks.

I don?t want massive millions to be spent by a foreign Dictator/Terrorist — just want a few mill here and there to build up the numbers — is this too much to ask?

I'm sick of this board who have no clout whatsoever and who should be putting more effort into squad building than sending us fucking glossy brochures showing the new ground — won't be that special when we are in the Championship will it ?

Its amazing how some people think that the players that finished 6th last season will suddenly become relagation fodder just because we havent added many more to them,its not like the players that left actually did anything last season! If the players that had gone were Arteta,Cahill,Johnson and Yobo then id be worried but it wasnt it was 4 shite players (not fernandes)! The likes of Man City from last season needs 11 new first teamers this time round cos they were that shit so i aint worried about them! My prediction is about the same in the league as last time round,a better euro adventure and hopefully a bit of a domestic cup run! Have faith! COYB!!
