You almost get the feeling sometimes that these idiots in charge of Everton get a thrill at working patched up sides and tiny squads..I think I made thepoint ages ago about Moyes loving to work in the face of adversity so then he doesnt cop to much stick if it goes wrong..Just say for instance he had a real big squad with even more quality and then for whatever reason it went wrong?. He loves the ’we are working with a small squad’ phrase after matches..Its almost as though Everton are Accrington Stanley and they should not expect to win matches because our squad is so small compared to all the other clubs..

Ever stopped to think that maybe the players who didnt travel were being rested ahead of next week, or possibly carrying minor knocks?

David Moyes has been a player and manager for a long time and somehow I think he knows what he’s doing.
