Palace Friendly!

Anyone get locked out of the game as I did yesterday for the first 15 minutes! I assume I missed the best action, the bloke next to me (a season ticket holder) fell asleep! Correct me if im wrong, but the official EFC website advertised £20 at the gate, a little steep, however no one had communicated that simple fact to CPFC. Not surprised we can't buy any players if thats the way us paying public are treated! Anyone got Bill's email address, not one to normally have a rant, but I'm a tad frustrated. See you all in a week.

luckily bought my ticket at 2pm the palace were trying to rip off a few evertonians, saying it was 25quid but i paid 20 exactly as it said on the ticket.steward told a guy with us he was too drunk to come in even though he had only had 1pint.piss poor hadling by them in my opinion, great vocal support in the first half but seeing as the players couldnt be arsed 2nd half neither could we!!

Yep, I was too. It was a shambles. The problem was not that they weren’t selling tickets, but they ran out of paper to actually print tickets on! The most frustrating thing was that they spent 45 mins finding new tickets and then just let us all pay on the door (ie. without tickets anyway). Why they didn’t just open the gates 45 mins earlier I don’t know, it really did seem it was going to kick off for a bit. The least they could have done was let us in for £15 after that fiasco.

Yesterday was a joke, we were treated like crap, I dont know if its everton or crystal palace at fault. But could it not have just been pay at the turnstile in the first place? Was amazing to c that many fans make the trip for a friendly though, we werent very loud, hope we find our voices ready for next week.

To be honest I purchased my ticket about 2 weeks ago and was in the ground early, so I didn’t have any problems, but I have been watching Everton at Selhurst Park for nearly 20 years, and as long as I can remember even in the days when it was standing behind the goal you had to purchase tickets from the ticket office, it was never pay on the gate.

I thought we had a excellent following yesterday cosidering it was only a friendly, but the facilities at the ground have’t changed since the first time I went there.
