If in doubt, do nowt.

The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, has been to me at least in very short supply and thats been most of the trouble.

Strangled by the exclusivity agreement, what little truth and news we did get was spinning so fast as to be (deliberatly??) blurred.

Truth and News, Pravda and Isvestia...Not so old Russian proverb There's no news in the 'Truth' and no truth in the 'News'.

What we got was vague 'up to' 10mill for Davey's transfers. Ground cost?? pick any number on the day if there's an R in the month.

So whats my verdict? I haven't actually got one that counts now as I don't have a vote. But I am, as they say now 'a stakeholder'...

IMHO The best that can be said, given the lack of both truth and news, is the old Scottish verdict of 'NOT PROVEN!

We now come to the old stand by...'REASONABLE DOUBT'...If you are 100% convinced that a yes vote is the way to go then by all means do so, with, if you care or not, my blessings, on the use of your Bill given franchise.

BUT and yes, as always, there is a but...If you are in any way shape or form NOT 100% for it but of the yeah wellwhat choice do we have, think on this.

We might have a little bit of rising damp in the 'Old Lady' but we are not in danger of being flooded out like those poor buggers down south any time soon.

We arn't rushed for time, only Tesco and maybe the board are.

In a close situation any Chairman has a DUTY for the sake of stability, due to lack of clear mandate, to vote for the STATUS QUO.

Any reasonable doubt WHAT SO EVER!! please vote NO.

Send the ball back to them and see what Better offer comes up.

I / we (?) know that the long term development of Goodison is in the 'too hard' basket.

Fools rush in, don't be a short term gain, long term pain type of fool, You are all clever people, just look at the club you support.

IF IN DOUBT DO NOWT !!

Nice and simply put, and in plain terms too.
This is a first question to be answered, but on the posts here and many other boards, the simple facts are the board have bodged this up and have made an already dubious attitude towards them from the fans snowball into an almost fever pitched disdain for what they are trying to do. Had the stadium plans been delivered in a more coherent and professional manner and treated us like adults, instead of trying to steamroller their wishes with scaremongering tactics and incomprehensible changes to their proposal, then there wouldn’t be the impression of civil war amongst supporters of this great club of ours. For that reason alone there should be great doubt amongst voters as those putting forward the plans are amateurish and in plain simple terms, not fit for purpose.

Vote no and see what happens as an alternative.

Vote yes and you will have no further say in this club and no coming back.

A well put article yet it still seems to say that your stupid and ignorant if your voting yes, nobody is 100% sure of what will happen either way yet the ’no’ voters seem to think that they can see into the future! Vote how you like for whatever reasons you like and dont let any scaremongering from any side sway you! I personally think the board will have done their homework on the Tesco deal and will vote ’yes’ because I believe in them and I also think the LCC has acted too late, they remind me of a child that didnt want that toy until another child picks it up!

All the board have done for gods sake is outlined the details and costs to the club for a ground move to Kirkby, and given the fans the final say.How is that bodging it up or misleading fans? We havent got the money or time multiplied by cost for redeveloping Goodison, plus all the planning etc problems that that will bring. If you think the Bestway land is an option regardless of where the finance will come from, have a look at how small the site is. The stadium will have to have stands built over the roads.
Everybody seems to be making a decision based on emotion rather than reality.
Do we as supporters want the club to move forward? Get real, this is the ONLY chance we’ll get.
