Kenwright must go

Participants at the clubs next annual meeting must take responsibility for our club and see to it that the club gets a new chairman. Bill Kenwright should not be allowed to lead our club because:

1. He?s apparently been lying to us on numerous occasions. The Fortress Sports Fund, King?s Dock and acquisitions of expensive players which never goes through. Last one in a number of players probably include Lucho Fernandez. Everton conveniently put in a bid of £11 million just as Real Madrid, Juventus and Real Madrid steps in. Heard that one before?

2. He seems either unwilling to or uncapable of finding outside investors to Everton, one of the most traditional and history laden clubs in the country, if not the world. In the meantime smaller clubs like Portsmouth and Bolton do get these investors and consequently outperforms us in the transfer market.

3. He is using his energy to take us away from Liverpool city, where we were the original team, and leave the city open for LFC to take over. Who would five years ago ever have imagined a discussion about Everton leaving Liverpool city?

I suspect at most other clubs in the PL, only one of the above points would be enough for the chairman to be forced down.

Bill Kenwright has seriously breached the trust of the clubs supporters, he?s ensuring our club is lagging behind much smaller clubs in terms of financial power and investment, and he?s moving us out of our city. He is a true Evertonian, but can we really continue to let that come in the way of our judgement of him and how he is running our club? No. And I beg for our next annual meeting to get their act together before it is too late.
