Look at it this way, if we vote YES then we have nothing to lose, it would simply allow the Everton board to continue with negotiations as BK has stated. Everton would be able to use a YES vote for leverage against any new sites, Scotland Road, Speke etc, conversely if we say NO then we will have no leverage with the BESTWAY boys having the upper hand. This vote will not tie Everton in to anything at this point and if KEIOC, LCC et al are serious about their own feasibilities if will buy some time.
We need to adopt a poker face for this one, I believe Everton fans should vote YES and allow the business men to move in for some real negotiations. The alternatives which KEIOC and LCC have presented could fail drastically and then we will be left up shit creek without a paddle with everyone blaming the board!

This has to be the most ridiculous post ever printed on this topic you are willing to trust Kenwright to use a yes vote to barter he wants the yes vote to allow him to sell the last thing we have to sell Goodison I think this is a wind up

I agree with James totally. If you don’t think Kenwright has the club’s interest at heart, then try to get rid of him - the stadium is not the issue.
If you think he and Wyness do have the club’s interest and success at heart, then vote YES and trust him to use that to find the best deal, in Kirkby or Liverpool.
Why so many people are anti-Kenwright, I don’t understand. He rescued the club from Johnson, we avoided relegation and have since qualified twice for Europe. Sounds OK to me.

IF you like a chairman who messed up the dock bid told lies about the fortress, cant find investment while looking 27/7.stayed silent about where all the cash from outgoing transfers the sky money and placement cash we budget for 17th finish 6th Thad’s a fair amount of cash only tells have the story on Kirkby we are committed to paying the overspend of the budget for the ground and I’m no expert but when has any building come in on budget so wehave no cash we will have to borrow the shortfall so we are stuck in a shed in even more debt which will have plenty of empty seats how often do we sell out and all these extra fans where are they if 4.5 miles is to far for them to travel how many will last long.why would corporate people be interested in boxes in a small town with a city next door even more so when that city will give the one city team all the help they need .but hey what do I know this will only be my 50th consecutive season watching the blues. if some one thinks moving to Kirkby is the right option then I respect that but disagree but to gamble our heritage like you want to makes me wonder if you know the club history.

James - You can’t possibly think that the club who have just come out of a self-imposed ’exclusivity period’ would suddenly decide to start talking to other parties if there is a yes vote? The board are desperate to push the Kirkby deal through as has been demonstrated by the half truths that have flowed from Goodison/the Echo/the propaganda document that came with the voting slip, all pleading with us to say ’Yes’. Even now the exclusivity period is over, they immediately rubbish and other proposal with Wyness using his new catchphrase of ’deliverable’. The moment that a yes vote is confirmed, the contracts will be signed - end of story, end of Everton in Liverpool.

Nice plan James. Vote yes - it’s a win/win.
We let Tesco build us a new stadium and if we don’t like it we can always return to Goodison. Or maybe we could spend alternative home games in Kirkby and Goodison until we’ve sussed out where the best ale and pies are in the Sefton area. Then we permanently take the plunge once everyone is comfortable with the idea.
